Welcome to 1121 East! I hope this 120 year old house becomes your home while you visit Louisville. Located in Paristown Pointe, this historic home is situated perfectly between many of Louisville’s beloved destinations. A walk through the Highlands, Downtown, Germantown, and Cherokee Park is all possible in about 10 minutes.

Need a place to park? The garage is simple to find via a back alley, but you can also find ample street parking in front of the house.

As you make yourself comfortable in your new home, I want to make sure that you are aware of a couple things about this old house. In the bathtub/shower the faucets are reversed—the left is cold and the right is hot. I’m sorry for any confusion.

Hungry for a breakfast or brunch that feels like you’ve transported to the streets of Paris, walk two blocks left from the front door to Wiltshire Pantry for some of the best pastries and treats this side of the Atlantic!

Want good music? A brand-new music venue, Paristown Hall, less than 5 minutes away, offers nearly nightly music options from local and national artists.

Excited for a night out? Walk less than half a mile to Bardstown Road, for all the bars and night life you could hope for! If you want something more casual with delicious beer and incredible food, you cannot go wrong with the Holy Grale. O’Sheas is a local Irish Pub, that’s barely a 10 minute walk away, with an great food menu, and at night turns into a great place for music and dancing. Want something more “up beat”? The you need a night out with DJ GlitterTitz at Nowhere Bar on Fridays or at Zanzabar on Saturdays, but be prepared with shoes for dancing! Also, don’t be afraid for the hipster hangout across the street, Seidenfaden’s, it is a wonderful place for cheap beer before you go out or a night cap before you turn in.

This house is on 1 floor and a simple layout. Living room is in the front of the house. As you walk from the living room down the hall, you'll see bedroom #1 on your left. Further down the hallway you'll find the full bath on your left and the kitchen beyond that. At the back of the house is bedroom #2. Both bedrooms have queen beds.

Guest access:

Detailed check-in instructions will be sent by e-mail at 3 PM EST the day prior to your arrival and will include information related to parking and property access. Check out is at 10 AM.

We do our best to accommodate all early check-in and late check-out requests. Please contact us the day prior to your scheduled check-in or check-out to discuss. Check-ins before 2 PM and check-outs after 11 AM will have an additional cost.

This property has a strict policy against noise after 10 PM nightly. It is important to us that we are good neighbors and a compliment to the community.

Other things to note:

You will be renting an entire house. Unlike a hotel, no one is on-site 24/7. If problems arise, we do our best to take action ASAP. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all.

Our kitchens are well-equipped to prepare meals and feature all cookware and dining utensils. Basics, such as salt, pepper, and oil, are often on-site. However, we are not always made aware when the last of these items are used. Please check the space before going to the grocery to ensure you have all items necessary for meal preparation.

We use a noise monitoring device; It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply listens to the noise level (measured in decibels).
