  • The flat is located in a very easy access area, very close to the city centre. Two friends and I stay for two nights and was enough space for us since we spend most of the time outside.

If you are a frecuent runner the place is ideal since it is just in front of the sea side, and has a divided cycle and pedestrian paths.

The flat was lovely and perfectly clean.

  • Thank you so much Elianne. I had the most wonderful start to my big adventure and I adored the flat. Everything was perfect and Elianne is a wonderful host. I loved eating breakfast and gazing at the view. Sometimes the ships would float in to harbour. The flat has everything you need and is bright and comfortable. The bed is divine and I wish I went in the sauna but the weather was so warm!! A short stroll around the corner you can catch the tram into the city and there is a little supermarket there too for those last minute forgotten things. Across the road there is a walking path that takes you around the water. The area is quiet and very relaxing. I would love to return to Helsinki and stay at Elianne's again. I had the best time here.

  • We received a warm welcome from Elianne and her husband. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. It's in a good location and at breakfast we were able to watch ships passing! Elianne organised the breakfast shopping for us which made life much easier for our short stay. Parking in the area was a bit challenging but well worth the effort. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • I didn't end up being able to go, much to my bitter disappointment. Elianne was very kind and understanding. I have no complaints in my dealings with her.

  • Inner City flat & Sauna was a wonderful place to stay. Easily accessible at the end of the #4 tramline, or on foot from the city center, it was quiet, spotless and comfortable. We met the host, Elianne Rehn, only briefly at the beginning of our week-long stay and at the end. She could not have been more discreet or accommodating. The sauna is certainly a bonus, and the view over the water superb. I would say that the five-star rating is certainly well-deserved.

  • We felt at home immediatly - a very nice flat, perfectly equipped but nothing overdone, great view to the sea, close to the center, very friendly hosts! And we liked Kajs restaurant recommandation in the neighbourhood: Wellamo, Vyökatu 9, within a 5 minutes walk from the appartment.

  • The flat is clean, bright and attractive with a great view of the harbour. Elianne greeted us on arrival and gave us clear instructions on use of the facility, including the laundry and sauna, both of which were most welcome. We found it easy to get into the city on the tram and very much enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the long evenings watching the ferries and sailboats. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

  • Elianne was a excellent host and her apartment is very beautiful, it has great water views and is very practically located at the end of the tram line 4. I'd warmly recommend this to anyone who wants to spend time in Helsinki in a peaceful location very close to the city center.

  • Loved this apartment! The view to the sea was amazing. Walking distance to downtown Helsinki and the market. Clean, nice kitchen, comfy bed and a baby/toddler bed which was perfect for us. Host was very helpful when needed.

About
Next door neighbour, living here at this waterfront with my husband since 1982 and loving it! I work in public broadcasting since 30 years, now semi retired. I frequently enjoy theater, seminars, and concerts - also in my own favourite place to travel; Stockholm. Other favourite activities of mine are cooking, my book circle. In summer I spend time at our lake cabin, - i.e. more or less one big sauna - swimming, cooking in the fireplace, reading and gathering bilberries and mushrooms in the forest. Swedish is my mothers tongue and the minority Official Language of Finland, in addition to Finnish. Of those languages I have an Authorized Translators degree. I speak English and can make myself understood in some of the other European languages as well. My guidline in hosting is to offer such an accommodation as I myself would like to find: delightful, central and yet seren, comfortable and well equipped also with the smallest necessities like tape, pen and post its and - of course: wonderfully clean.
