A lovely house just a few minutes walk from town. Wonderful view. Helen was a fantastic host - even though we didn't meet with here. I give my best recommendations.
It was a wonderful experience to stay at Helen's house. Watching cruise liners leaving the beautiful harbour, enjoying reading in the tastefully decorated living room, cooking in the fully equipped kitchen are amongst the benefits difficult to find while traveling. Grocery shopping and laundry service are within 10 minutes walk. Free parking is available 50 steps further on to the lookout.
Lovely flat centrally located in Cobh. Clean and lots of room. Very quiet town a bit off the beaten path. We enjoyed the very untypical Irish weather (it was sunny and very warm all week) and even looked forward to the breezes coming in off the water. Perfect contacts with Helen. Warmly recommened.
I did not get to meet Helen but her mother came to show us the home. It is a beautiful location overlooking the bay. The home is centrally located to the town and within a 5 minute walking distance to all the pubs and restaurants. Helen's home was clean and large enough to fit a big group. We had 8 people and we fit very comfortably.
