First of all I want to say how helpful and amazing the staff are. These wonderful ladies (and man) always greated us with smiles and hugs and organised everything for us from maps of Ubud to delivery of food, and all of our hiking, cooking classes and tours of Ubud. If it wasn't for them we would have been stuck, as our flight home got cancelled. TIP THESE GUYS they are worth every cent!
Waking up every morning greeted by a rooster and morning breeze was really heavenly. The staffs are great and nice and very helpful. Their banana pancake for breakfast is definitely a must. The room as perfect as displayed in the picture. The walks to Ubud Center was taking a moment but you can fix it by rental a motorbike. I love the place and will surely comeback again.
Unfortunately weather issues prevented me from actually making it to Bali - but the hosts were responsive and very patient with my constantly changing itinerary. I hope have another chance to get to Bali and stay!
We were made to feel very welcome. Also we felt very secure staying here, it's a little distance away from town and not the best for walking especially at night so we had to use taxis a lot as we don't ride a motorbike. The up side is that's it's pleasantly quiet away from the hustle and bustle. Attentive staff, nothing is too much trouble, lovely pool area, beautifully clean.
A beautiful retreat with delicious breakfast and incredibly helpful staff. Seriously they will do anything to make your stay excellent. The walk into town was a bit longer and busier than I was hoping but nothing a cheap taxi ride doesn't fix. Definitely recommend this is your are looking for a quiet get away.
I was so sad to leave this place!:'( It was a perfect place for my solo trip in Ubud to relax and chill.. Beautiful view from the villa and all the staff members were super nice and helpful. I'd definitely visit again if i go to Ubud next time:)
Great spot away from the busy ubud centre. Clean pool. good breakfast. about a 15min walk into town. Kitchen was handy in the room when travelling with our baby.

About the Host, David And Brenda
David, my husband was a set designer and furniture designer for the movie industry in Los Angeles for thirty years and worked with the tops in the industry....Steven Spielberg, Jodie Foster, Robert Redford, Bruce Springsteen and many more. His built the Captains Chair for Star Trek Insurrection and had the most "ordered" bed in TV history from the TV hit, "Mad about You".
He designed furniture for many top Restaurants in Los Angeles from the Saddle Peak Lodge in Malibu to Malibu Adobe with Ali McGraw. His resume is extensive and his client list is long....Billy Crystal, David Hasselhof, Arnold Schwarzanegger to Keenan Wayans.
He has translated that skill into building ten amazingly different houses since he's come to Bali. Our house is amazing and you will see why he is so in demand!
I have a variety of interests that keep me busy. I have spent years doing spiritual growth work and now work with others with addiction and codependency issues. I love this work and the chance to give back what I was taught. I've been an artist my whole life so our home is filled with original art ( mine and others) and I have an awesome studio..Anyone that loves to paint will fall in love here. My latest passion is teaching Zumba, What a blast!
As you can see, we are both loving our life and filling the hours manifesting our dreams. We both are creative artists and love to explore the world and the people in it.
Since we've been in Bali we've been taking in South East Asia. We love Vietnam, and Thailand for their amazing cuisine.
We are frequently traveling, so we are sorry that we don't get to meet all our guests, but we leave you in the hands of an amazing staff and manager, Eko and Sakming, who will be your contact people.
