**IMPORTANT NOTE: Let us know right away if you're interested in the room, but please do not submit a "Book It" request until we are able to confirm availability for your reservation. We almost always respond within a day or so, but we travel quite a bit and are penalized if we do not respond to "Book It" requests within 24 hours, which is stressful. Thank you! :) **
Now that we got that out of the way:

**The price provided here is 100% accurate and complete- however, we process 80% of the reservation charges through airbnb, and the remaining 20% to cover state and city tax is payable upon arrival. This is because we are expected to pay NYC taxes of 14.4% in addition to a per-night hotel fee. This practice is allowed by the site and helps both of us avoid unnecessary fees and charges. Please let us know if you have any questions about this! **
Simply, treat my home the way you'd want someone to treat yours.
Other than that,

"Pleasant" would be the best way to describe my experience at Cam's humble abode. Like I would totally live there and or wish my apartment was as cool. Cam was really easy to coordinate with even tho I had a 2am arrival time. The place was just as described in the photos but he's got cool photos and interesting books all over the place so it's entertaining just hanging in the apt. The only downside was I didn't spend much time at the house except for sleeping which really didn't give me a chance to really bond with the host. The brief time we chatted though it's easy to tell why he's chill enough to be an Airbnb host. I highly recommend Cam's place to anyone looking for a NY adventure but with a major dose of Brooklyn. Cheers to Cam!
I've only used Airbnb twice and so I don't have a huge basis for comparison. But if all Airbnb experiences are as good as this one then I'm sold for life. Cam is the most friendly, helpful and hospitable host imaginable. His pad is clean, spacious and you will want for nothing while in his care. The location is great with supermarket downstairs and restaurant and coffee shops just a few steps further. My only regret is that I could only stay one week. The Brooklyn G line was making my commute to the city a tad tedious. Damn you G line!
Fantastic experience. Cam's place is amazing and it is really to get around to manhatten from his location. Cam is also a joy to talk to.
Cam was a very welcoming and responsive host and I appreciated his staying up late to accommodate my late check-in. I didn't get to talk to him much during my 4-night stay but all the reviews are spot on in that the loft was a beautiful, clean, comfortable space with a very comfortable bed and easy access to the subway. It was easy and intuitive to get to and back from Manhattan and LaGuardia airport by public transit. Of course as a few others reviews have implied it takes a bit more patience to get to Manhattan than if you were in Manhattan proper, but the price here can't be beat and it's a great base from which to explore Brooklyn as well. My only complaint is that I don't believe it was mentioned in the ad that I would be sharing the bathroom with another guest during part of my stay, which turned out not to be a problem given that we were both clean and respectful of each others' schedule, but still it would have helped to know beforehand. Other than that minor detail, I thoroughly enjoyed staying in Cam's loft and would highly recommend it to others.
Cam was such a great host during my first four days in NYC. The space was so nice to start and end the day at.
Can't say enough great things about Cam and the loft. I felt super welcomed, and Cam was so helpful and fun to spend time with.
Cam was a brilliant host who went out of his way to make me feel welcome. We shared some excellent and engaging conversation throughout my stay and Cam was really helpful on advising about local amenities and using cabs etc. He was even kind enough to make me breakfast on my first morning in the apartment.
The apartment itself is very tastefully appointed and has brilliant facilities while being large enough to give you your own personal space. The private room I had was well furnished and very comfortable. I felt completely at ease staying here as a first time Airbnb user. In terms of location, the apartment is in an 'up and coming' district of young professionals, with a Subway located virtually on the doorstep of the apartment block, which afforded full, unfettered access to Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan. The views of the Manhattan skyline from the apartment were spectacular.
This loft is a base for exploring New York that is truly second to none!
Staying at Cam's was like staying with family. A perfect introduction to air bnb. The space is huge, the bed is comfortable, and the loft is clean. The kitchen is big enough to cook in, and there's plenty of hot water for showers. Close to the G train, very easy to get around from here. I felt welcome here. Totally recommended.
