Our peaceful property has the best of both wolds with sea & bush views. Your self contained accommodation is separate and has everything you need for some time out. Our spa is always ready for weary travellers and we are waiting to welcome you!
Welcome to Lakes Entrance and our little piece of paradise.
Our quirky B and B is self contained with internet facilities, own verandah, own bathroom with shower/bath, toilet and washing machine, dinner available by gourmet cook if required. There are also cooking facilities in the room which is heated and cooled with a reverse cycle air conditioner. Our gorgeous accommodation is all on one level with no stairs and is wheel chair and walking stick friendly.
We have a great ocean view, are very friendly, love meeting new people and have a lot of local knowledge to ensure your stay with us is as comfortable as possible. Just ask and if we can help we will. We also have a large permanently heated fully maintained spa ready for weary guests at the end of a long drive...and yes you can take a (plastic) glass of wine of whatever in with you.
The accommodation is separate and away from the house, ensuring you have peace and quiet (although we can't guarantee the birds won't wake you). Lakes Entrance is a seaside resort that is fairly quiet but comes alive in summer and Easter.
We have the train and bus that comes to Lakes Entrance and we can pick you up from the bus stop. Please let us know...its no problem.
I do like to cook and can provide a meal for you (at pub prices) and would love a little notice to enable me to ensure I have gorgeous local ingredients available . A cooked breakfast of egg, bacon, eggs, mushrooms and tomato with juice, coffee, and pot set yoghurt with blueberries is approximately $15ph or there's pancakes with ricotta and fruit...to name a few examples. Dinner might be local fish or seafood bouillabaisse or perhaps a taste of bush tucker (unique Australian flavours) in either fish, chicken or beef with a unique vegetarian meal with perhaps home-made pasta for those of you who don't like meat..let me know your tastes and I can cater to them. Dessert will be something yummy and as locally sourced as I can manage all for $30-35 per person depending on the meal provided.
There are lots of attractions in the area, boating, fishing and much more. We are 3-4 hours east from Melbourne and look forward to welcoming you to our home. Please note that dinner would be an extra charge if required and a cooked breakfast also. Happy to provide the basics which as you can see from the reviews is quite a substantial breakfast :) There is a coffee machine or two in the room as well...and beans and grinder are provided ensuring you have a cup of fresh brewed coffee to sit on the verandah with or ask us and we can make you one to order.
While the unit is really for 1-2 people, there is a double couch that might be suitable for a child if needed.
Check out is flexible mostly especially if we have no one else coming but please consider that we do have to clean the room at some stage for our next guests. At this time of year in view of the amount of bookings it would be great if you could check out at 11am and in after 2pm. Just so I can make it clean and sparkly for the next guest.
We are gay and lesbian friendly.
Look forward to meeting you soon.

Nina was a lovely host. She communicated well throughout the lead up to our stay and during our stay.
We had access to a fridge and washing machine which was great considering we had kids with us.
Had a great time with Nina and greme. We loved warm welcome by gipsy, pee, chooks and the beautiful birds, lovely anniversary celebration, that was like a paradise.
Thank you for the stay!!
Kamal, guri & prabh
Hi Kamal, Guri and little Prahb, we cannot thank you enough for choosing to celebrate your 6th wedding anniversary with us. What a great night. We are fortunate indeed that you brought it all to us and sharred the night. We loved it and thanks again. Most appreciated and how lucky are we to have your company for the evening. Hope to see you again!
Nina's place is a perfect location to enjoy Lake's Entrance from. If you are looking for a refined apartment, the studio will be something of an adventure but Nina is the perfect host.
Hi John, our "studio" that you stayed in for 3 days (booked an extra night) is not and doesn't pretend to be refined. We prefer to say your are staying in ia part of our home and we are friendly, uniquely Australian and above all fun. We provide the comforts of home in as much as we can, with good humour, your own space and good food on occasion...eg brekky provided but we can cook yummy meals if asked for. Most guests have written glowing reports...but yes if you are looking for refined that's just up the road. We can discuss our own travel experinces and offer help in what's on offer around here...but as for adventure well you make your own. i am not sure its offerd with the self contained apartment as such. :) I hope you enjoy the Gili's though not a lot of refinement there either. And best of luck with your travels in Australia. Plenty of adventure here...cheers Nina
Nina was very welcoming and helpful throughout our two night stay; giving us lots of ideas of places to visit in the area as well as places to stop during the next leg of our journey to Canberra. On our first night we took Nina up on her offer to provide us with an evening meal, which for a two course meal & wine at 85 AUD was excellent value; the food was delicious!
Unfortunately we only stayed one night but Nina made us most welcome and cooked us a very special Valentines Day meal
Her apartment is delightfully different, is quiet and comfortable and Nina provides lots of extras
We recommend the accommodation and suggest everyone should accept the invitation of a meal
We chose Nina's place due to high number or reviews. We wer not disappointed. Nina and Graham are wonderful hosts but even better cooks. During our 2 week road trip and fine dining. Nina's salmon/white fish bake was our favourite! We were soo full... luckily we didnt sink in their spa.
Lovely cosy room.
No complaints nor reservations to recommend their home.
The only negative thing to say about our time with Graeme and Nina is that we did not stay long enough.
We received such a warm welcome on arrival it felt like we were returning to visit old friends. Our hosts were exceedingly attentive whilst at the same time respecting our privacy and not being in the least bit intrusive.
The accommodation is very comfortable and a real home from home. You will have a real struggle to find it lacking in anything you would need.
I would urge you to take up the option to have Nina cook for you. She is a very talented cook and very willingly accommodated our dietary requirements supplying both delicious dinners and breakfasts. We felt thoroughly spoilt. Undoubtedly the stay here was the highlight of our holiday in Victoria.
Great stay, thanks Nina!
Lovely B&B had everything a traveler might need, including a comfy bed & lovely home cooked breakfast out on a sunny deck. It's also just a hop, skip and jump from the many beautiful local attractions.
Friendly and fun hosts who love a chat and make you fee warm and welcome.
We had a fabulous stay with Nina and Graeme at Lake's Entrance. The room is beautifully appointed with all you can need and more - the generous breakfast provisions were much appreciated! I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area, or even making the trip especially!
We had a great time staying with Nina. The bungalow/granny flat is at the back of her house with a lovely view of the bush. It is well set up with everything that you might need on a holiday - Nina has thought of everything! Nina and Graeme are lovely people who are always up for a chat and very helpful, however respect their guests' privacy too. The bungalow has a very homely feel to it and we loved Gypsy the dog and Pea the cat, as well as the chooks and all the bird life. We highly recommend visiting Lakes Entrance and staying with Nina and Graeme!
