The space

Ca'Spina is a small cottage, renovated in respect of its simple features and available to all those who want to enjoy our area: Valpolicella, Verona, Lake Garda and the Lessinia. It's the ideal place for a romantic getaway, a relaxing vacation or an extended stay. It has a large enclosed garden with an electric gate, a terrace furnished with two beach chairs, a stone table, four chairs and a hammock. The carpark is private and closed. The rooms are tastefully decorated and complete with linen. The cottage consists of a full kitchen, two TVs, refrigerator, toaster, kettle, oven, coffee maker, hairdryer, heating, air conditioning, bbq, washing machine and refrigerated wine cellar with the best wines of our area. The wi-fi service is available upon request for a fee. Your faithful four-legged friends are also welcome, at no extra cost and will be very happy. Ca' Spina is just 600 meters from the town center, a quarter of an hour from Verona or from Lake Garda. Bars, bakeries, renowned wineries and fine restaurants are easily reachable on foot. On Sunday morning, there is a weekly market in the main square and you can get fruit and vegetables, local cheeses and meats, etc. We are open all year round.

The neighborhood

The landscape is hilly and cultivated with vineyards and olive groves. Valpolicella is an area famous for its wineries and marble. There are also many natural jogging routes that intertwine and get you to discover new views. You can visit: St. George city; the Park of Waterfalls of Molina; the Veja Bridge; the mills of Borghetto; Verona (14 kms) the romantic city of Romeo and Giuliet; the wonders of Lake Garda (9 kms); Venice by train in one day! And much more...

Salve! Mi chiamo Serena, ho radici contadine e vivo da sempre nella splendida Valpolicella. Nella vita faccio l'impiegata part-time. Ho due figli meravigliosi (come tutte le mamme!!): Gioele, con la passione per il blues e Linda, sportiva a 360 gradi. Adoro ballare ed ascoltare musica in generale, mi piace stendermi al sole e camminare senza una meta precisa. Due anni fa ho realizzato un sogno: ho acquistato un piccolo "rudere" e mi sono divertita a trasformarlo in un accogliente rustico, poi ho pensato di condividerlo facendo assaporare anche ad altri quello che spesso mi rigenera: la campagna, l'odore della terra bagnata, i profumi velati delle stagioni..ed ecco: Ca' Spina! La ristrutturazione è stata fatta rispettando il centro storico in cui è inserita la piccola contrada di cavatori di marmo dello scorso secolo. Ho curato l'arredo come il mio vestito più comodo ed allo stesso tempo mi auguro che i miei ospiti abbiano la stessa sensazione. Tornando a me, in inverno amo la sauna, il bagno turco e le dormite sui lettini ad acqua o di fieno, d'estate preferisco gli anfratti soleggiati sul lago di Garda, ma non c'è stagione per la buona cucina ed il buon vino genuino..ogni terreno da' i suoi frutti, quindi se mi sposto, anche solo per il fine settimana, la mia scelta cadrà rigorosamente sulla cucina ed i prodotti tipici del posto. Mi piace l'arte frutto della manualità e dell'autentico talento ed ho la fortuna di conoscere, forse l'ultimo grande scultore della mia zona (almeno io lo ritengo tale..e non solo la sola!)..e se anche tu condividi, non mancherò di fartelo conoscere e presentarti le sue opere. Chiedimi poi quello che vuoi sapere sulla Valpolicella, Verona o il Lago di Garda e cercherò di esaudire le tue richieste. Ciao a presto!
