Gordon was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was a tad short for someone 6'-2" but otherwise it was very comfortable. A great value and I'd stay there again.
Gary was very friendly and prompt to communicate by phone. The room was clean and comfortable and having a private bathroom was an added benefit.
Gordon was a great host; very accommodating about the room and full of great suggestions.
The location was perfect. Within walking distance of downtown and Nob Hill. Lots of parking and easy to access other parts of the city.
The room was clean and comfortable. The private bathroom was a nice feature.
I highly recommend Gordon.
Gordon is a great host; he was kind and considerate in ensuring that I got well settled in and provided some great information about the neighborhood (good restaurants, bars, and coffee shop, all very close). The room is comfortable and tidy and nicely appointed with a private bathroom. The temperature in the house was ideal; and Gordon offered use of his kitchen. If you are driving in, the neighborhood is very easy to reach from the interstate. It is an attractive and quiet neighborhood. It is also a very quick and simple walk into the downtown area. I would certainly stay with Gordon again and gladly recommend him to others.
Gordon is a nice person, but the swamp cooler was out of order and not fixed the first two nights I was there and it was too hot to sleep until late at night. Bed was comfortable. Room was reasonably clean except the bathroom sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month or two. Kitchen was reasonably clean unless you don't like crumbs in the microwave, etc. Gordon is a coffee drinker but also has caffeinated tea. Only two types of non-caffeinated tea so bring your own if you want that.
The swamp cooler hadn't been turned on for the summer yet. I misjudged the weather and had an appointment to have it turned on in June. I got the date moved up and had it turned on during the visit; my apologies for the inconveience. I'm actually not much of a drinker of hot drinks of any kind but I do have instant decaf coffee, regular ground coffee and a variety of teas for friends and guests.
