*Bottle feed a baby lamb if you stay in March - May!

Our solar farm lies in the heart of the bluegrass! We live near: Old Friends Farm, the KY Horse Park, and 35 minutes from UK, Keeneland, The Ark, and 5 distilleries.

We live on a small 6 acre farm with cows, sheep, goats, & chickens. Drop by the barn and meet & feed the sheep and goats! You also can watch a movie with them with the little "theater" in the barn.

Our house is pretty much a duplex--two houses under one roof, both separate.

The space
We live on a small, six acre farm in the now un-incorporated town of Great Crossing. We are no more than 10 minutes away from the conveniences of Georgetown, and 30 minutes from Lexington. We love our location as we enjoy country living without being remote.

We live in the adjoining house. You'll enjoy all the benefits of privacy while having us nearby if you need anything!

We're almost surrounded by rolling hills and farms that Kentucky is known for. Enjoy both the private accommodations inside, or the tranquil farm life in the backyard. Backyard & barn are shared spaces.

Guest access
In the 1930s section of the house, you will have two private bedrooms, a private living room, along with your own kitchen and breakfast nook. There is a private entrance and shared access to a washer & dryer.

Enjoy the back patio, both covered and uncovered.

Drop by the barn!
Our 4 friendly goats and 5 sheep love attention and snacks. We provide food for you to give them. Our lovable barn cat, Rosie, may come say hello or curl up in your lap as you relax outside.

Watch a movie in the barn (with advanced notice & weather permitting).

Or, play basketball on our private court.

Other things to note
Pets are welcome if they are clean, non-destructive, and quiet. We have many animals on our farm as well as electric fencing. Please make sure your pet is leashed when outside. Also, please do not leave your pet unattended if they are incessant barkers/chewers.

Trailer parking available too!

In the midst of the pandemic, some of our potential guests have inquired as to our HVAC system. While we do live next to the accommodations, there are separate thermostats, heat pumps, and air handlers. There is no air exchanged between our home and our accommodations. Please feel free to inquire further if needed!

We currently offer EV charging (48A) as well as internet speeds up to 100Mbps! For non-Tesla EVs, we have a j1772 adapter that will allow you to charge your vehicle up to 40A.

We're not quite off the grid, but we have a 15kW solar array that generates most of our power.

We have outdoor cameras that are active and recording. There are no indoor cameras.

My work: Education
Hello! Professionally, my wife and I are both teachers. We enjoy hospitality, our farm, and our community so we decided to rent out part of our house. Our house is really two houses in one. We live in one part of the house, and by closing a sound proofed door, we're able to section off private accommodations consisting of 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and nook. If you are looking for fancy, polished, or upscale accommodations, you might want to keep looking. If you are looking for a clean, quaint, relaxing farm, stop right here!
