About this listing
Private room in lovely house inside a small private, with a courtyard in the middle and a gorgeous roof top. Comfortably fits a couple, or two and is centrally located and quiet. Walking distance from many galleries, cafes, bars, and restaurants.
Private and comfortable room in two story house. The house is inside a small private courtyard, with a gorgeous terrace in the Roma neighborhood of Mexico City, , one of the most happening neighbourhoods. Close to cafes, restaurants, and many galleries. Although the house is on a main avenue (good for location and transportation) because it is inside a 'privada' is super calm and quiet (good for relaxing on the terrace).
Very close to the Bosque de Chapultepec museums (Museo de Arte Moderno, Museo Tamayo, Castillo de Chapultepec, etc.), as well as all the galleries in Colonia Roma Norte. A 2 minute walk to a metro Centro Medico and 10 minutes to Metro and Metrobus Chilpancingo. There are two different metro lines within walking distance.
10 min walk to one of the most beautiful markets in the city, Medellin market. good for grocery shopping and also eating, trying mezcal or just touristing. It is a very nice neighbourhood to explore by bicycle.
The house is totally equiped, washer and dryer, complete amazing kitchen (i love cooking and is totally equipped), dinning table in the open space in the courtyard, or the terrace. amazing neighbours. Internet and TV. Big space, quiet and sunny.
When Airbnb photographer Moritz came to the house, he suggested I emphasized how much character the house has. There is not really a translation in English for a 'vecindad' that is , in this case, 4 small houses around a nice courtyard. The neighbours are really amazing, there is a bbq for everyone's use. It is an old house, renovated, so makes it special yet functional. It is very minimalistic but since its old, it comes with a certain feeling to it.
It is a very quiet house and no parties are allowed. While the terrace is beautiful and i want you to share it, if more than 5 people are enjoying the sun, its is better to come inside after 10pm, so not to disturb neighbours.
