Neighborhood highlights

Sandy Valley is a very small town. We have one small store, one saloon ( Idle Spurs) and one restaurant (The Cluck and Moo) All of them are about 10 minutes from the ranch. You take a right out of the ranch and then a left on Cherokee.
There is also the oldest saloon in Nevada 20 min away in the historic ghost town of Good Springs. The famous Pioneer Saloon.
Sandy Valley is a special and unique Rural community. A perfect place to unwind, exhale and slow down.

We would like our guest to be aware that this is a tipi/tent. It is a very unique experience but when strong winds blow it is noticeable inside. The tipi is very strong a stable but it does rattle and shake in strong winds. Also, please note...In the winter the desert can get below freezing at night. The tipi does have a heated bed that keeps you very warm at night. There is also a propane heater inside but it does get cold inside the tipi.

Fun fact: I live off grid
Lives in Las Vegas, Nevada
My Wife and I live in Las Vegas but we spend a lot of time riding horses out in Sandy Valley and enjoying the incredible desert life. I am a contractor/woodworker and my wife is a resident director for Cirque du Soleil . I built our tiny homes and tipi's wanting to give our guest a lasting memorable experience.
