Casa Tortuga is a brand new luxury beachfront Villa on the shores of Playa la Saladita, steps away from world-class surfing. This 3-bedroom house sleeps 8 and can be rented separately or with the casita for a total of 10 guests (refer to our listing for Main House & Casita). The house was designed so that every room has a view of the ocean and local surf break. Luxury linens, comfortable king-size beds, a fully stocked kitchen, air conditioning, and hot water make this home unique to the area.

The space
The main house has 3 large bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 1 downstairs, all with king-size beds, private baths, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and hot water. The living room has a private full bath and two sofas that can accommodate up to 2 additional guests (for extra per person fee). Upstairs bedrooms each have a private, shaded wrap-around terrace with comfortable seating. Each room has 2 sliding walls that open to full views of the ocean to let in the warm tropical breeze, allowing you to fully experience the natural beauty that Playa la Saladita has to offer. The house offers spacious outdoor living and dining areas under a huge palapa providing plenty of shade. The fully equipped kitchen is designed so that you can prepare your meals while watching the waves break in front of the house or the sunset over the horizon. The large, lighted infinity pool is perfect for swimming or floating. The rooftop terrace provides a 360-degree view of the ocean and mountains and is perfect for doing yoga in the morning, enjoying a cocktail at sunset or stargazing at night. Casa Tortuga's beautifully landscaped grounds, gentle ocean breezes, shaded lounging and dining areas, and many private spaces, provide the perfect place to escape and relax.
The Casita is a stand-alone unit that can be rented along with the Main House for larger groups. It provides ample privacy from the main house without feeling isolated. It is equipped with a king-size bed, large sofa, private bath with indoor/outdoor shower, fully stocked kitchen, airconditioning, ceiling fans, and hot water. The floor to ceiling sliding doors and large windows provide incredible ocean views.
The entire property is surrounded by soft green grass, perfect for a post-surf game of soccer, shaded surf racks, and flowering plants.

Hello! We are Richele and Willie Mein, owners of Casa Tortuga Saladita. We live in Boulder, CO where we raised our 2 children. We love living in the mountains with easy access to climbing and skiing. We discovered a love for surfing a little later in life and knew that having a place near good surf was a must. We first visited Playa la Saladita over 15 years ago and continued to return with our family every year. We are so excited to finally have a home there and enjoy the best of both worlds!
