We stayed only one night, but we really enjoyed our stay at Simone's BnB. The house is in a quiet countryside, surrounded by trees, and then vineyards. We jumped into the swimming pool as soon as we arrived, and then we had a romantic dinner outside our apartment. Next day, we left, but not before Simone gave us some good advices about places to visit in the villages and towns nearby...

We stayed here only one night, but it was a real pleasure. Too bad the weather wasn't on our side, so we didn't get to enjoy the pool. However we had a nice dinner in a small village nearby at a restaurant that Simone, the host, recommended (La Table). It was nice to have our last night on vacation at such a quiet, beautiful place. Simone is so sweet and nice, so she made our stay even better. Would definitely love to visit this place another time.

This is the most gorgeous Airbnb - it was recommended by a friend a couple of years ago and totally lived up to expectations. It's in a very rural and quiet area so best for people who want to get away from it all - it would make a wonderful writing retreat, for example. It's also probably at its absolute best when the weather is great, which it wasn't when I was there, so didn't get to use the pool, sadly. A few things to be aware of: you need a car to make the most of the local area, there are mosquitoes, so bring repellent, and the wifi, while it works, is not that fast. Overall though, superb!

My partner and I booked the apartment for a week as a summer holiday. Overall, our stay was lovely and Simone was a welcoming, friendly but discrete host. She was kind enough to recommend to us some local events and activities, including a night market and a jazz festival - which proved to be among the highlights of our stay. There are a multitude of excellent restaurants within a 30 minute radius, and an excellent cycle path along a disused rail line. Simone was kind enough to lend us bikes. The apartment was cosy albeit quite small, as can be seen in the photos. Our kitchen was missing some items, including a bottle opener and glasses, which were apparently missing following a large group booking the previous week. We were also slightly disappointed that the microwave only had a grill, with no oven facility. The mattress and pillows were comfortable, although it is difficult to stand at one side of the bed due to the low ceiling. The pool facilities were well maintained, however the furniture and decking are a little more weathered than pictured. Overall we would recommend this apartment for a quiet, simple getaway.

The studio is unique, the breakfast is delicious and Simone is a really nice host that gives valuable recommandations for the region and is very hospitable and always worried about the well-being of her guests. She even provided a baby cot for our twin boys and a welcome bottle of the best Bordeaux wine! If it's hot the pool is the perfect refreshing and the garden relaxing. The area is beautiful for wine lovers and gourmets. I would highly recommand this place and I would stay here again if I am in Aquitaine.

We enjoyed a lovely first family holiday here with our 7 month old baby, the quiet and secluded location were perfect for us. We decided to hire a car and would highly recommend visiting some the beautiful lakes, great for families. Simone is an excellent host, always happy to offer advice and help.

This was such a lovely stay! Simone was so lovely and gave us amazing recommendations for lunch and dinner, and lent us bikes to use on a nearby beautiful bike path. The place itself was absolutely stunning. Only downside would be that near the bed the ceiling is quite low so we both hit our heads quite a few times on the ceiling (somehow we didn't learn). For someone over 6 feet it would probably be quite difficult. That being said I would certainly stay here again!

Hello! Bonjour!

I am software engineer, passionate about design, art, architecture, and building things and I would love to welcome you in this very special place that I have restored personally with care, time and love over the past 5 years. I have lived in this part of France for 16 years, and would like to show you my vision, the secret places, the unexpected, the real feeling of this amazing part of France that you won't find in guidebooks nor will you be guided to by a person behind a hotel information desk.

I live here with my 3 children and our dog, cat and various other creatures, (if you are lucky, you will see rabbits, deer and many singing birds) - but we are in another part of the property, it is a real home and I am very accessible if needed however you also have full privacy too if that is your preference.

It is my selfish desire to be here for the arrival of each and every one of my guests, except in exceptional circumstances, to greet you, advise you and help you with all I can to make you feel that you belong here as it gives me great pleasure to see you leave with a big smile knowing that this stay made a positive difference in your voyage.

Hope to meet you soon!
