  • Just perfect! Katherine is a great host! Bed is comfortable and clean and the room is beautiful.
The subway is literally on the corner, and it's close to all the NY attractions.
Thanks for making our trip to NY even better!

  • We had good times using Katherine´s Studio. It was very clean; She has provided clean bed sheets, towels, etc. The bathroom it's nice. The place it´s very well located (1 minute walking of Subway). My only concern was about the central heater we visited in the end of the winter (about 15/20°F) and the heather is not enough for this cold weather, the other question is that the studio is located on the 4th floor without lift. I recomend this place. Katherin was very helpful. Thanks.

  • We had a really nice stay in Katherine's apartment. For 3 people it's small, but fine. Everything was nice and clean. The location is also really nice, a 10 minute walk to Union square and from there there are many metro's. There is also a L (metro stop) around the corner that stops on Union square.
It can be cold during the night time,..
We would recommend a stay in this apartment!
Thanks Katherine for having us :)

  • Katherine's studio apartment is ideally located in the heart of the East Village, extremely close to the subway and walking distance to what seems an endless array of bars and restaurants. The apartment itself is very clean and tidy, and spacious enough for two people given it's a fairly typical NY size apartment.
Given our stay was during a very cold part of the winter, we were really needing a well heated apartment, and unfortunately this one wasn't. The heater provided is centrally controlled by the building manager so we had no individual control over the output. This would have been fine if it was set to a comfortable temperature, but there was very little to, at times, no heat and the apartment was very cold as a result. We messaged Katherine a couple of times and she did say she'd contact the building manager, but this didn't seem to make a difference. For the money that we paid to stay here over the New Year this was pretty disappointing. Hopefully this issue can be rectified for future prospective guests.

  • Our stay at Katherine apartment was really nice. Katherine met us at her apartment when we arrived and was really prompt in communications whenever we have questions.
The apartment is really well located, close to subway and only ten minutes from Union Square! It is ideal to visit the city!
The apartment is really clean and confortable, you have everything you need for your stay!
The only inconvenient point is that the heater is centrally controlled and during the cold nights the appartement was quite cold (the heater does't work all the time). Unfortunately as the heater is controlled by the building manager, Katherine couldn't do anything.
Overall I will definitely recommend this appartement for a stay in New York City.

  • Our stay in Katherine's place was great! She was easy to get a hold of and she was flexible with our check-in (Very nice young woman.) The location is great! The apartment is exactly the way it looks in the pictures; the bed was very comfortable. We were close to a lot of cute shops, restaurants, and best part close to union station which gets you all over the city.
I would say the apartment best fits two people, But you could easily make room for four.

p.s. The towels and bed sheets smelled amazingly clean :D the entire apartment eas very clean.

    Thanks for everything, Katherine!

  • Everything was beyond my expectation! The apartment was nice and neat. 1av(L) stop, restaurants, bars, 24hr CVS and deli are only a step away. Having such a great host was a huge plus, who responded quickly and accommodated my needs. I'd absolutely love to stay this place again!

  • Katherine is a lovely person to deal with, she met us at her apartment to make sure we were settled and was really prompt in communications during the process. Her apartment is well located on 14th street in East Village so you can walk to lots of restaurants and bars, or subway choices. Its also very handy to use Citibike to explore lots of areas, over the Williamsburg Bridge (highly recommended) or even cycle down to Soho. The apartment is in an older building, up a few floors, and the unit is an older simple (website hidden) has good ventilation and natural light, It has all basics, was clean and I think ideally suited to a couple (though we were two single guys one using the lounge which really isnt so comfortable for an adult). Price was good value and I would stay here again.

  • It's a wonderful, sweet and very clean apartment with a very comfortable bed and a small kitchen with everything you need. Propably you sometimes can hear the neighbours, but as you are in New York City it is really a very quiet apartment!! We loved to stay here for six days, the area around is pretty cool and you have everything you need in the neighbourhood. Also Katherine was a very nice host. We would highly recommend this apartment.

  • What an amazing apartment! It was perfect for my husband and I for a long weekend in the city. It was close to the subway and easy to get to any of the popular sites around the city. The apartment was also extremely clean! The pictures don't do it justice, there is tons of natural light and again, VERY clean! Katherine was a great host and met us late in the evening to ensure we got the key and access to the building. There are tons of little places to eat and walk to. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone! We look forward to staying here again in the future!
