Melinda welcomed me in her home by showing me all around her quaint home. The neighborhood was very nice. Thank you!
Melinda was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room matched the description and pictures. The breezes through the windows kept the temperature reasonable during the day and the night cool enough. The planes were loud, but I sleep hard and it didn't bother me. The house is a great location to get downtown, to the bay or stone brewery. I'd happily stay here again.
thank you Melinda. had business in Point Loma area and the location was very convenient. many thanks.
Great communication beforehand. She speaks quickly and enthusiastically, so if English is not your first language it may be difficult understanding her. Great location super convenient to the airport, but also in the flight path meaning loud jets overhead starting around 6am. Overall great, convenient place to stay. Highly recommend.
Melinda is a wonderful host. House location is perfect for downtown sightseeing and beach. Bedroom and restroom are super clean. A little noise from the airport during the day but overall it is a tremendous experience.
Melinda was very nice and accommodating. Nice location in Point Loma. Close to everything.
I really felt welcome at Melinda's home.
Melinda lives in a residential neighborhood. She was really friendly and open to any of my questions. Parking was easy in front of her home.
The one thing to prepare yourself is that you are in the flight path and might wake up in the morning due to the sound of the airplanes flying overhead. My advice is to bring earplugs, especially if you are a light sleeper and you'll be fine.
The room was clean with a twin bed, pillows, towel, and a bottle of water. She also has extra blankets.
The shower is on the 1st floor you might find some bath products to use during your stay as I did. There is a restroom on the 2nd floor and the shower is on the first floor.
Doors can easily make a loud noise when shut so close the door softly.
There might be other people staying at the home as well and your door might not have a lock, so keep that in mind.
I would definitely consider returning the next time I need a place to stay in San Diego (but next time, I will bring earplugs)!
