A perfect suite for our visit in Vancouver. We couldn't have asked for more! Heather was kind and generous -- we would stay here again in a heartbeat!
This was a wonderful AirBnB experience which exceeded all expectations! Heather and Pavol were away but gave very clear instructions; and their helpful and efficient daughter, Erin, kindly checked in by phone to make sure we had everything we needed (we did!).
We had the best sleep, enjoyed the abundant fruit, juices, milk, coffee, toiletries, plentiful towels, extra linens, hair dryers, huge desk, well-equipped kitchen, coffee, books, great TV, perfect shower, lovely private surroundings, easy parking, very convenient and safe location (less than 10 minutes to all the places we had to go)....I could go on and on! So many thoughtful touches, and so clean.
It was hard to leave - thank you Heather, Pavol and Erin!
I stayed in this suite for 5 days with my teen for some bonding/exploring/shopping time in Vancouver. We loved 'our' apartment and its location.
The suite itself is ground level with lots of windows, but feels very secure and safe. I loved being able to sleep with the window open! We were cozy and found the furnishings comfortable (I even managed a nap on the sofa, it's that squishy.. note: it's not the one in the photo but is equally inviting), amount of storage space luxurious, and kitchen complete with everything we'd have needed to cook (though we made use of all the restaurants, greengrocers, and 'ready made' shops in the neighbourhood). The bathroom was stalked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and even a toothbrush which I was glad for. The wifi was good throughout the space, but my cell phone worked better just outside; there's a little chair and table outside the entrance. We especially appreciated the umbrella Heather provided!
Parking & access were perfect. We parked on the street right outside the suite, but found the buses to be easy to use and bus stops close (note, the buses don't take bills, adult fare is $2.75).
Heather's a thoughtful host, and VERY pleasant to deal with. We felt like special guests throughout our stay, and even invited her in for visits when we saw her (but she definitely wasn't intrusive!). We'll definitely be back!
This was a great experience. Heather and Pavol were welcoming and respectful hosts providing wonderful accommodations and information to make our trip as awesome and uncomplicated as possible. My gratitude for heir thoughtfulness.
This was a wonderful experience. Heather and Pavol were welcoming and respectful hosts providing great accommodations, and good advice (including a list of restaurants) about the wonderful Kitsilano area of Vancouver. The apartment is spacious and with ample natural light. It’s in a quiet residential area, and within a short walk to shopping and restaurant streets. This is a gem of an airbnb.com locale.
Heather was an very welcoming host as she accommodated our check-in needs and checked in with us from time to time to make sure we were comfortable. The unit is very comfortable, particularly the living room furniture. The kitchen was very well appointed, and had extras like jam and spices that made living away from home easier. Finally, the location of the unit was ideal, within walking distance of the beach/ocean, great playgrounds for our son, and plenty of restaurant and grocery store options. We'll stay again!
Heather and Pavol greeted us warmly and then gave us our total privacy. Have been in the area before so did not really need any help.
The apt. was great and the kitchen was well stocked-- yes cookies as well :) a wonder-full visit and if you are carnivorous walk to the Modern Burger or a whole host of great places to eat. Never have to drive in this neighbor hood.
Thanks to Heather and Pavol until we visit again--
