Everything was nice at Franco's house. The house is as described and big enough for a family to stay there. You have everything you need to cook, washing machine, bbq, etc...
Communication with Franco via email went well. His mum welcomed us and gave us the keys and all the information necessary. A lovely person who also lives in Stintino.
Area is great with loads of restaurants. First beach 10 min walk from the house. La Pelosa, 20 min.
Only con of the house are the ants, but this is something you will probably get in any house in Sardinia as they are everywhere on the island.
Would definitely recommend this house!
We arrived very late at night /early in the morning and and Franco kindly arranged for us to get the keys. He had also sent a very detailed map so we were able to find the house despite darkness and empty streets. Was much appreciated... Also cool water in the fridge was not left unnoticed. Thank you. Neighbourhood perfectly ok.
We stayed and Franco's house for the second half of our northern Sardinia vacation. La Pelosa beach was incredible, despite how crowded it was. We did find it to be a bit farther walk than what is listed here (more like 25 minutes than 15), but it was okay for us; perhaps the 15 minute reference was to the start of the paid parking area (and where you can see the sea), but it was another 10 minutes until you got to La Pelosa beach. The cliffs were also nice and definitely recommended for viewing the sunset!
As for the house itself, we found it to be nice and accommodating, but felt it was a bit outdated and cluttered. The oven did not work, and neither did one of the burners. The boiler was not sufficient for supporting two consecutive hot showers. The outdoor shower, which looked very pleasant in the photo, unfortunately, did not have a temperature control and was very cold. The garden was certainly the best feature of the place, but we would have enjoyed it more if it had more comfortable outdoor furniture. We think Franco's place would be a great value for a family or larger group. The location is in a residential neighborhood and thus is very quite, and we liked it better than Stintino's city center. While there are no restaurants nearby, it's close enough that this wasn't a problem. Also the snack bars and pizzerias at the beach are convenient and affordable.
We interacted with Franco only by email and SMS, and found him very responsive and helpful. His aunt and mother met us there to give us the keys and were very pleasant!
Good location near Pelosa beach and great cliffs and hills for sunsets though a car is recommended. House is basic with most needed items, though a bit dated and dusty. Oven doesn't work. Bathroom needs updating. Garden is best feature - although it was swarming with ants, but we bought some ant powder and it got better. It is better value for a family as it has many beds. Franco was very helpful and responsive.
We came to the house after a bit of hectic travelling and it was great for a more relaxed last portion of our holiday. The house is comfortable, very well situated and very relaxing with a great outdoor area. Franco was v helpful in giving us a list of local beaches (the best know, La Pelosa, was very crowded - so we went to La Saline, v different experience, great beach) would happily recommend it to friends.

Hello everybody, welcome to this beautiful city. I 'm a multicultural italian-born guy. I have 2 legs and 2 arms. Apart of that I am a normal person who enjoys life.
