Great check-in experience
100% of recent guests gave the check-in process a 5-star rating.
Home of "Sunny Land Motel" circa 1959, Orange Beach. You're sleeping on history. Refurbished-clean... history!

Updated Appearance Notes:
We switch between two bedspreads, so sometimes its grey and other times its as the photos portray
We rearranged the flowers and the painting, as people were leaning up against the painting in bed, so their locations are actually switched! (Flower over bed, Painting over tv)
There is a new cowhide in the airbnb now. Tan not white.

The space
Connected to Salt Coastal Outfitters boutique and surrounded by shops and restaurants with the beach in your backyard. (The beach is about 100 yards away... you CAN'T see the beach from our place, but once you walk through the path and over the sand dunes, ahhh!)
Tucked away, but right in the middle of it all.
Feel free to lounge anywhere on our spacious porch or walk through the path to the secluded beach.
The space was previously one's surf shack, we've transformed it into a airy fresh space.
Although it was once someones living quarters-- it is SMALL, I mean quite literally think... motel room. But, spruced up!
Equipped with a kitchenette stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, and two coffee mugs to enjoy with our French press coffee system (we've also added a regular coffee pot due to some visitors not understanding the French press) , a queen bed, table for two, retro mini fridge, smart tv (NO CABLE.. if you plan to watch TV you must have your own Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon account), and a single shower bathroom!
Please, Remember this place was once a single motel room from the fifties, besides paint, most of it is still circa 1950.
Perfect for a getaway...whether that be 'getting away' for a weekend or week(s)--it's all yours.
This space is connected at the end a business that operates from 10 to 6. We're all friendly here, but be respectful :)

Other things to note
Do not remove anything from our property.
If you do, be prepared to deal with the consequences. Simply respect our property, also damages will be charged!

Note: the surfboard in the unit is purely decoration, it is decades old and doesn’t work in the water. We ask that you park at the end of the building with the front of your car facing the front door of the surf shack. During the day the parking lot fills with customers ❤️

Orange Beach, Alabama, United States

The Airbnb is located next to a main road, causing a bit of NOISE (simply the cars driving by)... It's not necessarily bothersome, but it is inevitably there. With that being said, in our opinion the beach being right on your side makes it all okay!
Located in 'Downtown' Orange Beach, close to everything. Drive a couple miles and you're in Gulf Shores, go the other way and it's Florida!
Orange Beach is like Gulf Shores' younger brother.
Explore the Gulf State Park, go to the Pass, shop at Salt, eat at Fin and Fork, rent paddle boards from Tambo's, or simply bask on the beach and build a sand castle. Life's easy here!
