Jean was a kind and generous host. She was friendly and offered wonderful suggestions for our short 2-day trip to Milwaukee. Her apartment is well-kept and cozy (and WiFi included), and offered privacy for the guests (guest bedroom and bathroom in the opposite end of her apartment). There are plenty of street parking near the apartment (make sure to read her instruction on parking though) and there are many food places and shops nearby (5 mins drive, 10-20 mins walk). We would stay here again!
Jean was a gracious and welcoming host and her place is in a great location. Right down the road from many of the cool restaurants in the third ward and being right on the river, it was a great apartment. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Milwaukee and need a place to stay that is in a great location!
Vary nice shared apartment in the middle of two of my favorite Milwaukee neighborhoods.
Jean is extremely welcoming, and I felt very comfortable in her home. Accommodations are great.
Had a terrific stay with Jean. Thank you very much for your hospitality and for providing a clean and inviting space. My girlfriend and I were in town just for the night and this place was a perfect change from staying in a hotel. The location is great, not too far off the highway; the neighborhood is quiet, yet there is a restaurant across the street; and we found free street parking in front of the building. We took a cab out at night and it was only a $6 ride each way. There are no noisy neighbors and as other reviewers have noted, the pullout couch bed is SUPER comfortable. I had to do some work while we were there and there is a desk and table in the room. We told Jean we would probably sleep through breakfast the next day, but she still made biscuits and coffee the next day before she left. I would highly recommend staying with Jean to anyone who wants to get out of a hotel and stay in a quiet part of town, along the river, with great views. Thanks Jean!
Jean was there to greet us when we arrived and to show us the amenities of the condo. The location was wonderful and it was easy to get out and walk to several areas to shop, eat and sight see. The description was accurate and the room and bath were very clean and nicely appointed. The views were fantastic.
