Nice flat. This is a studio apartment and much smaller that I expected from the photos. The bed is a sofa bed and not comfortable at all. Still, everything else was nice and clean.
A lot of steps so be warned if this is an issue with you, as it was with me. But.... Italy is all about stairs! Beautiful views. To hear Saint Peter's bells is magic!
Lovely flat in a quiet residential area of Roma. It’s far enough from the tourist crowd however the way to the city center as well as to the Fiumicino airport is very convenient. The view is gorgeous any time of a day or night.
The flat is equipped for everything you need and all the staff works well. I really enjoyed my staying there.
Rome is an amazing city and Enrico's apartment is very good do stay. It is a few minutes of bus line which goes for the city centre and all places to visit. It is also very quiet and has a beatiful night vision of São Pietro Cathedral. We really enjoyed stay there!
Enrico was very hospitable during our stay, we didn't meet him but he organised Angela's daughter to pick is up from the airport at cheaper rate than taxi. Angela manages the flat for Enrico and lives in the building, she was very helpful & friendly. You call her if you have any problems. The apartment is amazing, more spacious than photos, very clean, and quiet location. There are steps out the front but there is an elevator in the garage to help you with your luggage. Then another elevator from ground floor to level 5 - The apartment is on level 6, so only just one flight of stairs to the top. Million dollar view of St Peters Bascillica from the bedroom, so amazing to wake up to every morning. The apartment is 10min (max.) walk to St.Peters Square and additional 10mins into city centre & Vatican entrance. Colossem is too far to walk but only €7 taxi ride. There are taxis and bus at the train station, which is out the front of the apartment. We had great time and loved the quietness of the place, we stayed in a loud neighbourhood of Barcelona before this. There is also a small balcony/terrace which was perfect for eating dinner.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this place. It was nice and comfortable: slept like babies, very quiet, wonderful light and balcony for breakfast. The location was great, we manage to move around walking or taking the bus 64 to main part of town. There are a couple of issues that we feel we should mention 1) there is a very strong cat odor in the entrance to the building and even in the hall and elevator (not in the apartment!) but it was unpleasant even for a cat person and 2) there is no Wi-Fi, which in today´s world is not fun, specially when one expects to be able to go online to plan the next day in a city like Rome.
The host was not the person I contacted but she was helpful regarding the property.
The neighbourhood is quiet and the bus route is useful as it goes through many of Rome's main attractions. A little too quiet in the evenings, so when returning home in the evenings I opted for taxis.
The apartment was fully furnished with everything one needs and very clean.
The only downside was no WiFi which did not permit me to get in touch with friends and plan ahead during the down-time while resting in the apartment. WiFi is a must.
