My beautiful flat is available for long term rent - minimum 6 months, option to extend.
Located just five stops from central London and all its exciting amenities and close to several parks for pleasant walks in nature.
The flat comprises two double bedrooms, one with a bath (shower) en suite. Each room has a double bed, wardrobe, and TV/DVD combo.
A good size living and dining area (seating up to six people) with a large flat screen television with Sky Satellite. And off this a well equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher.
The rent also includes WiFi broadband connection, all basic utilities, and Sky TV (incl movie channels).
The bedrooms look onto a 2 acre meadow. Its very quiet except for the odd howling urban fox!
The location of the flat is fantastic: a five minute walk from Finchley Road tube station which is on the Jubillee and Metropolitan tube lines. Five stops and you are in the heart of London's West End (Jubilee line); and five stops to Kings Cross/St Pancras where you can take the Eurostar to Paris. There are also numerous bus services into the West End: Nos (phone number hidden) all take you direct to Selfridges. There is also a train connection from West Hampstead overground to Gatwick airport.
The area is a conservation area. It is close to the famous Hampstead Heath for refreshing walks, or the popular Primrose Hill, a charming village area whose inhabitants include celebrities such as Jude Law. A short distance away is London's zoo and a short walk into stunning Regents Park rose garden. My flat is also about a ten minute walk from the American School in St Johns Wood.
Supermarkets: Just across the road from the tube station is the upmarket (Waitrose) and an even larger supermarket, Sainsbury located 5 min walk from the station in the O2 centre where there is also a five cinema complex. At Swiss Cottage, again a five minute walk from Finchley Road tube, is the Odeon IMAX cinema complex. And enroute is a Boots store (for medical supplies).
Parking: if you have a car and require parking permits this can be arranged ahead of time.
I do not allow shoes to be worn in the flat.
I am happy to supply linen, towels and other basic amenities should you require this during your stay.
Cleaning: A domestic cleaner will come once a week (if you need her more than once this can be arranged) and typically the charge is £20/£30 a day for two/three hours cleaning which is payable directly to the cleaner in cash.
A Security deposit will be charge in the amount of £1,000 returnable on departure less cost of breakages etc.
And lastly, South Hampstead is a safe area.
Easy to make arrangements, despite the fact that we only booked at the very last minute, Ingrid was flexible and friendly - her place is lovely and bright and very comfortable, highly recommended!
We needed a room for a while since we needed to move out from our place here in London, and Ingrid welcomed us very warmly.
She is a fantastic host and her cakes and biscuits are delicious!
