Boundary Bay is the body of water that separates South Delta from USA. Large regional park surrounds the Bay which is an internationally recognised bird area on the Pacific flight path. Interaction with Guests
I like to greet my guests on arrival show them around and have a chat about the neighbourhood. I also like to check in before they go to bed and when they awake to find out if they have any needs.
There is everything available within walking distance (10 to 12 mins). A new bistro is literally a few steps away. There is quite a selection of soups and interesting sandwiches all freshly made. On 56th, the main drag, there are several good restaurants and Starbucks in 2 locations.
The bus stops outside the house literally. Buses go to Vancouver during rush hour every have an hour. There is a community shuttle bus that offers connections to the city or can take visitors to the town centre.
I expect you to enjoy the house and more especially the view. I would like you to respect my space and treat the house as you would yours. No outdoor shoes, please. Quiet time between 11 and 6, please.
No pets allowed. I have allergies.
Take off your shoes; turn off lights when you leave your room; clean up after your self, please.
I would prefer to have quiet time between 11 and 6 as I am sure you would too!
Susan is a great host. She was very accomodating to the fact that I got in at 2 am in the morning, and she was up to let me in and give me a key. The area where her house is is a 15 min drive to the Boundary Bay Airport, which was super convenient for the course I was attending at the airport. Susan's place is very clean and quiet. A perfect place for me to come home to study at night's end. I only wish I had a bit more free time to spend with Susan because she was such a sweet person. She is so thoughtful she gave me beautiful bag of shells from the beach to give to my little niece for her birthday. I highly recommend Susan's place if you are looking to stay in the area :)
Susan is a gracious host with a serene home in a very tranquil part of south delta. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!
Susan was a great host, and more than willing to help someone out who was making a very last minute booking. If I'm in Tsawwassen again, I definitely won't hesitate in booking with Susan!
Susan is a very personable hostess, who tries to make life pleasant and interesting for her guests in Tswwassen. She lives just across the street from the beach.
The room is as depicted in the photos, so you know that the bed is for single travelers , not couples. The bathroom next to the bedroom is almost private; Susan uses it for showers only, and gives adequate notice, so no line-ups.
A very pleasant stay.
About the Host, Susan
I live in BC, Canada - just outside of Vancouver.
I have no pets not the furry kind anyway. I collect teddy bears of all kind. They are so adorable. I listen to classical music because it has been tried, tested .
