The Space

We are offering a lovely room in a well loved and stylish, four storey Victorian town house with views of Bath and in a central location.

Located 80 miles from London, Bath is a unspoilt and beautiful Georgian city with many historic building and monuments including the Roman Baths, Bath Thermae Spa and the Royal Crescent. It also has great shopping, excellent restaurant and eateries, and a vibrant nightlife. It is a great base to explore the Cotswolds, Stonehenge and other world heritage sites.

The Location:

We are located 15 minutes walk to the historic city centre and a mere 10 minute to artisan quarter & Walcot Street. Locally there are a number of great gastro pubs including the King William (4mins) One Beaufort (4mins). Morrison's supermarket is just down the hill. We provide a map with all our favourite places to eat and drink..

The House:

We are very happy for you to enjoy the rest of the house including the large oak floored living room with Sky television and large selection of DVDs. Our basement kitchen is fully equipped and we are happy for you to cook a meal or simply make yourself a cup of tea, when you tire of the many fantastic cafes, bars and restaurants in Bath. You can also relax our large contemporary bathroom or shower room. Our south facing terrace is a great place to unwind and have a drink after a day taking in the sights.

The Room:

Your room is clean and newly decorated and enjoys a bay window, ceiling rose and is detailed with oak. The double bed is made with Egyptian cotton linen and is fully equipped with bedside lights, desk, vanity unit, mirror, and wall mounted flat screen TV/DVD. A shared shower room is located directly next to the room. All bedding and towels are provided.

We offer a simple DIY breakfast served in the kitchen when you want and how you like it. This consists of fresh coffee or tea, a selection of cereals, and home-made bread with jams and spreads.

Check-in should be organised from 12pm-8pm unless otherwise arranged, Check out is 11am

Getting Here:

We are very well located for direct access from the M4 motorway and can offer free on street parking outside the property (rare for Bath). The train/bus station is 20 mins walk, but we recommend a taxi from outside the station (£5-6)

We had designer home Room 1 it was very nice and tidy. their house is just a stones throw away from the city centre and most of the tourist attractions. You can easily walk to many places. I will definately recommend their house. Not forgetting their delicious homemade bread, something you have to have on your stay there.

  • Daniel and Anna were great hosts and immediately made us feel welcome in their lovely home. The room was amazing value for money and included thoughtful touches such as their personalised map of Bath, DVD's and mini tv, hairdryer and towels. One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast: seated at Daniel's designer dining table, eating delicious home-baked bread and looking out onto expansive views of beautiful Bath.
If airbnb gave an award for the best bnb of Britain then this one would definitely win!

  • Daniel and Anna welcomed me warmly. The freshly baked bread for breakfast was lovely. Every bit of the house, and my room, were spotlessly clean. It was good to sit in the kitchen at breakfast looking out of the large windows over Bath city. I was in Bath to work and Daniel and Anna accommodated my ridiculous hours easily. Thank you for a great stay.

  • Good location and nice apartment! Daniel and Anna are nice couple to talk to and they are very friendly hosts. I especially like their garden and kitten which I can have the whole view of the city bath. Good location as well, just five minutes walk to the centre of the bath. Highly recommended to others!

  • We very much enjoyed our stay at Daniel and Anna's house. It was clean, comfortable, and had the amenities we were looking for. Both of them were very pleasant and helpful hosts making us feel comfortable. Daniel was very helpful with maps of how to get around by car, and Anna even loaned us her GPS system so we wouldn't get lost. It turned out that we didn't use it much, but we definitely appreciated the gesture. We would definitely stay there again.

  • It's been great meeting Anna when we arrive and Daniel when we left. The room was nice and comfy. Breakfast was decent. Best of all a short 10mins stroll to Bath City. Nothing much we can ask for. :)

  • My wife Julie and I stayed for three nights recently and we felt really at home here - Daniel and Anna are great hosts - we felt welcome from first moment to last. The room was great - good size, clean, plenty of storage and quiet even though it overlooks the street. The house is a four storey town house, so plenty of stairs - see it as an opportunity to work off the calories put on from enjoying the excellent eating & drinking recommendations (The King William Pub is a great place to eat). Being able to use the kitchen was really helpful and the rear garden area is great. Location is excellent - just a nice stroll into the city. So - house & location excellent - but it's the hosts that make the difference.
