  • Rita was very friendly and accommodating to us during our stay, she offered my friend and I separate rooms and cooked us a lovely breakfast in the morning. A lovely stay and we would both recommend her.

  • We had a really lovely stay with Rita, who was helpful and kind enough to put us up at short notice when work required us to move quickly. Our room was big and airy and clean, and very comfortable, and the shower in the bathroom was the nicest shower I've ever used! Thanks Rita :)

  • I spent 4 weeks with Rita whilst waiting to move into my new flat and my experience with her was excellent. Everything was clean and comfortable; the bedding was changed every week and the room cleaned. The room had its own TV although I joined Rita in the evenings to watch with her for an hour or two. She was extremely generous in allowing me to use her fridge and cooking facilities, and washing machine and dryer when required. Although she provides breakfast, as I was staying for longer than her usual guests, I felt it would be helpful to her if I got my own and didn't impose on her more than necessary.

I have no hesitation in highly recommending Rita and her home for anyone wishing to stay in this area, where access is convenient to nearby towns and villages and other places of interest.

  • Our 3rd stay with Rita and this time we took our son. As ever, nothing was too much trouble even though our son is a tad on the fussy side with food. Breakfast was up to its usual very high standard and we will be coming back again very soon I expect...especially as a small voice in the back of the car asked if we could before we'd even driven down the road!

  • Very welcoming host, very friendly and caring. She made the most delicious breakfasts (full English breakfast and Continental breakfast) and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was spotless, very clean. And she has a nice garden, where we had breakfast every morning and where we could relax in the evenings. Very peaceful and quiet area, but not too far away from Lewes, which is a nice city to visit for a day. Another place to recommend is the Seven Sisters National Park, where you can have a lovely walk and see the White Cliffs.

  • This was our first Air BnB experience and was fantastic. Rita was so welcoming and made us feel at home from the minute we walked in. The house was lovely, Rita provided a wonderful breakfast in her garden and was the hostess with the mostess! She even drove us all the way back to Lewes station the next morning.

Would definitely recommend to all. Thanks Rita!

I am semi retired, having enjoyed a successful career in Purchasing and Vendor Management. I have travelled extensively and my favourite destinations are Canada, New Zealand and India. With a soft spot for Scotland despite the weather!! I like to read, cook and go to the theatre. I especially like musicals and have seen most productions either in London or locally at Brighton and Eastbourne. I am a very welcoming hostess and have recently had friends staying from Canada and Austalia. I am very good at itineraries and know a lot about the local area. Am a member of both the National Trust and English Heritage and do voluntary work at Standen for the NT.
