Enjoy your stay in Austin!
SXSW can be an overwhelming experience but, a short bike ride from downtown and I was in a very peaceful place. The space was clean and comfortable. If you are looking for something funky and fun I would stay here anytime.. Veronica was fantastic and her puppy, Zeus, was and added bonus
We had a wonderful stay here. We stayed for FunFunFun Fest weekend to celebrate our 1st Anniversary. The property is within walking distance to Auditorium shores, South Congress, Zilker Park, downtown and more restaurants than we actually had the time to eat at. Honestly, we didn't want to leave, we just loved the neighborhood and the charm and character you get when staying in an older home. The bed was supper comfy and the space was really great. Funky (in a good way) cool vintage type furnishings, lots of interesting reading material, high quality bed linens and the kitchen was stocked with coffee, oatmeal, hot cocoa, and tea. We like to leave the front door open so we could listen to the little pond and waterfall in the yard, it was very relaxing. Veronica was very welcoming and although we are somewhat local to the area (we live in Round Rock) she had some really great recommendations for us. She made us feel completely at home and we genuinely enjoyed getting to know her, I would absolutely stay here again. This was my first experience with AirBNB and it was wonderful. I don't think you will ever catch me renting a traditional hotel room in Austin again, not when options like this are available. I would much rather see money spent supporting a local residents entrepreneurial spirit than a nationwide hotel chain.
We didn't get to spend much time in the house due to the attractions of Austin, but it was quiet and comfortable, within a pleasingly sobering walking distance from downtown Austin. Can definitely recommend.
A really great house in a fabulous location. Veronica was a warm and friendly host with lots of spot on recommendations that made our stay in Austin very memorable. The house itself is quirky, stylish, comfortable and clean with a great chill out garden in a peaceful neighbourhood that is in walking distance of Barton Springs and the great bars and restaurants of South Congress and Lamar. Will definitely return if I ever come back to Austin!
Veronica met me at the gate and was charming. She showed me everything i needed to know. The cottage/apartment is adorable. I will stay here again the next time I am in Austin. The park is so close and the views of the city wonderful.
Veronica was very friendly, sweet, and full of great recommendations. The apartment was quirky and fun and quiet. Great location. Perfect walking distance to ACL, SoCo, and downtown. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed at Veronica's for ACL. Great location . We were close enough to walk to/from Zilker .
