Some info has been automatically translated.
This small guest house is located in a quiet mountain village on the shore of Shoji-lake.
Mt. Fuji is not visible from the room, but it is a 10-minute walk to the beach with a view of Mt. Fuji in front. Great location as a base for trekking, with Panprama-viewpont and Sanpo-bunzan nearby. We also recommend exploring the neighborhood with free rental bikes.

Please make a reservation after checking the following!
There are a few restaurants and one convenience store (no ATM) within walking distance. Please note that all stores close early, so if you are checking in late, please be careful.
No smoking inside the facility.
The host lives in the building.
There is one cat. I think it would be difficult for people with cat allergies to stay.

The space
This is a private room with a lake view and a lock. This is a twin room with two single beds, but if you are staying alone, you can use it as a single room. The space is bright and airy with windows in two directions. All guest rooms are on the second floor. It is not suitable for children 6 years old and younger or those who have difficulty going up and down stairs.

Guest access
Common spaces, including 2 bathrooms and 2 bathrooms, are located on the ground floor. The living and dining room has free coffee, tea, and herbal tea. Please use it as a place to interact with your companions and other guests.

During your stay
Bilingual (Japanese and English) staff are available.

Other things to note
For eating out and take-out: Restaurant Ju (10 am - 5 pm, closed on Tuesdays) is a 2-minute walk away. There are also 3 other eateries within a 10-minute walk, but they are only open for lunch. The only convenience store nearby is the Yamazaki Store (6: 00 am - 7: 00 pm), which is a 6-minute walk away. There is no ATM.
There are many restaurants in the Narusawa area and Kawaguchiko city, but it takes more than 20 minutes by car from the facility.

Where you’ll be

Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi, Japan

Among the five lakes of Fuji, Lake Shinji is known for having almost no tourism industry. It's perfect for those who want to spend time quietly because there is nothing there.
In the village, there is a shrine with a thatched roof and a Zen temple, and the 1,200-year-old sacred tree, "Shojin-no-Otsugi", is the only tourist attraction in the village. It's a 3-minute walk from here to the shrine. Mt. Fuji is not visible from the building, but it is a 10-minute walk to a scenic viewpoint of the foothills of Mt. Fuji and the sea of trees.

Three bicycles are available for free. Please use them to get to cycling and trekking courses.
If you want to ride a boat, you can rent it by the hour at the fishing shop.
