Set up base-camp here and explore everything in and out of the Mad River and Dog River Valleys. Nearby small farms and community markets a'la Vermont will sate your farm-to-plate hankerings. Norwich University is just 8 miles away. Closest downhill skiing is 8 miles away at Sugarbush with Mad River Glen just another 7 miles down the road. Awesome biking everywhere with gravel grinding right out the door or curated mountain bike single track in Warren, Waitsfield, Northfield, and Randolph; and plenty more networks within a 45 minute drive. Nice central location for a Brewery Tour - Lawson's, Good Measure, Bent Hill, Collaborative just to name a few.

Roxbury is the geographic center of Vermont. When it’s all said and done, you’ll feel warm and happy to have spent time in the heart of the State. Living on the Roxbury Gap is character building in its own. Even though we're up there and out there, our neighbors are the best and quite regularly we all get together to break bread, share stories, and help each other with projects. We all chose to live here because of the natural beauty of the land, clean mountain water, and proximity to the great outdoors.

Born in the 80s
Where I went to school: Cornell
Currently living in Roxbury, VT. I've been a traveler since day one. Born in Vienna, Austria, moving to Belgium at age 5, then to the U.S. at age 7. I grew up in Cooperstown, NY before moving to Germany (Hamburg) for a year. I attended school at UVM, and finished my undergraduate studies at Cornell University majoring in Natural Resources. I then moved and ran an off-the-grid farm in Vermont for 5 years. Since that project, I moved to California with my now wife, Kristen. With lots in between including much time spent in Asia and Central America, and currently working in the renewable energy field. After a few years, we moved back to Vermont and now have a beautiful daughter named Ophelia. Also a couple doggies, Bodhi and Oumi, and a cat named Ernie. A current venture involves reviving an old farmstead and creating a unique farm stay experience in Vermont, a place we love and hope you will too.
