We really enjoyed our stay at Emma-Claude & Tony's flat in a quiet area of Newcastle. The bedroom was clean, bright and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and we were made to feel at home. Both Emma-Claude and Toni were very helpful in suggesting places to visit in the city.
Future guests should be aware that the "front door" of this upstairs flat is on the side of house number 91 and therefore its number (89) is not easily visible from the street.
I booked this room for my partner and I and when we arrived Emma made us feel very welcome, we were greeted by Coco (the little dog) and were given two huge cups of tea. Emma and Tony were friendly and really helpful, giving us tips on restaurants to eat at and advice on transport links into the city centre. We enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was good and we felt relaxed during our visit!
The host made my friend and I feel very welcome and we really enjoyed the stay over! The description was very accurate. Tony replied to my messages very quickly.
The house was very heartwarming and nice, and we really felt like we are staying there.
Emma was not at home as she was busy, but Tony and Emma left a whole lots of brochures on the desks. Tony even made us breakfast from the bakery. There was a variety of food for breakfast!
I left something at the host house and Tony kindly brought it to somewhere that I can collect it.
Will stay there again if I am coming back to Newcastle!
These hosts went the extra mile to give our stay a special and memorable one. Thank you Emma and Tony!
We both felt really relaxed at Emma and Tony's home. The room and apartment was very tidy and clean, we had everything we needed and Emma was very generous and gave us some lovely soup as we had only purchased some ordinary tin soup for dinner our first night. We loved the bunnies and got to have a pat, little Coco the dog was happy keeping an eye on us. Both Emma and Tony were happy to chat and very helpful with directions, suggestions and information on the area. Recommend to anyone. Thanks Naomi and Alex
Toni and Emma-Claude were extremely welcoming and helpful to me and my friend. Their flat is exactly as described - clean, cosy and well equipped. They live a short bus ride from the city centre and very kindly supply guests with a local map and leaflets about places to see in the area.
It was a lovely place to stay because the hosts were so friendly and accommodating but also because it's a safe quiet place to stay within easy reach of Newcastle city centre.
Perfect place to stay in Newcastle! We just stayed 2 nights there, but we feel so comfortable because of their good facilities, kindness, and the "Coco". Also, breakfast from Emma's bakery was delicious, and the chance to talk with Tony was really glorious to me, as I'm one of the NUFC fans. Don't hesitate to choose here! You will never regret! :D
Emma-claude and Tony were fantastic hosts! Emma was in contact whenever I had a question and they were both incredibly helpful when I asked for things to do in Newcastle. The apartment is stunning, I wanted to take it back to London! The location is great, quiet and not far from the city. I highly recommend to anyone visiting to Newcastle and I will be returning when I'm back in Newcastle.

About the Host, Emma-Claude
Hi Im Emma, I would decscribe myself as easy going. I was brought up in Africa whilst my father ran a Hotel, I have a french Mother hence my love for travel.l have pet rabbits who live outside in the back garden wolf & boxer, and also a small friendly Jack russel called Coco. I work in catering and am always busy. I love europe especially italy and have visited most of europe on holliday or backpacking. I am facinated by cultures & new places. I love meeting new people whoever you are. If I had I dislike its giant multinational companies who have the monopoly on selling crappy junk foods. Recently started playing badminton & started singing lessons.
My partner Tony is a postman who loves Newcastle United and watching a good movie. We both enjoy live comedy & relaxed nights in.
