About this listing
This luxurious apartment has everything you need: you'll even be able to enjoy some of those Dutch rainy days.
The living room has a lovely sitting area - with sofa to relax on as well as comfortable chairs. With a large plasma TV, a DVD player and dvd's, you might want to take a blanket and a cup of tea and stay on the couch watching films all day. In case you'd like other entertainment you can also sit down behind the big Apple computer and get online, or fill up the large bathtub in the bathroom to enjoy a hot bath and relaxing music.
When it's dry outside and the sun starts shining I can recommend for you to go outside. You'll step right into the center of the Amsterdam neighborhood called Jordaan. This area is like a village in the bustling city with small shops, restaurants and nice outdoor terraces everywhere. The Noordermarkt offers what's been voted as the best apple pie in Amsterdam - and a bit later on in the day you can enjoy a beer in cafe Nol. Of course, I can share more tips if you like.
If you like to cook I suggest a visit to the market and a home cooked meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen of the apartment. There's a dining table to sit down and enjoy your meal.
Do you feel like getting an ice cream afterwards from the salon around the corner? Or will you just watch a movie in bed (plasma TV) or a settle down with a good book?
You can enjoy every day staying in this apartment!

Location! Location! Location! Amsterdam is a walking city and you can walk everywhere in the City from the flat's centralized location. Jordaan is the best location in AMS for boutique cafes, restaurants and shops. After walking the City 8+ hours each day, the flat was a warm, comfortable and quiet place to return with a take-away dinner to re-charge the batteries!! I was on a road trip from Munich. Parking is expensive and nearly impossible to find in AMS, Floris helped me secure free, secure parking for the duration of my stay (6 days).
Lovely comfortable apartment, Floris was a charming attentive host and my family and I had a wonderful relaxed stay. The main bed was one of the most comfortable I can remember sleeping on. Location is great too, right in the heart of the Jordaan. Thoroughly recommended.
Floris was a very warm, welcoming and responsive host. He provided great recommendations and was easy to connect with. The apartment was wonderful. Very clean and cozy. The outdoor space was a really nice setting. The location is great - quiet yet in the heart of great shopping / eating / etc. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others!
I needed a place in Amsterdam for a quick stopover between cities on a Europe trip. Floris' apartment was perfect. It is absolutely beautiful, with one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. Even better, it's in a fantastic location. We walked to everything very easily and were able to see so much in a short amount of time because of the location. I highly recommend his apartment.
Floris, thanks for the comfy flat and the great recommendation! We had a great time in Amsterdam! You neighbourhood was perfect for getting a taste of the local life. Great location and friendly host! Thanks Floris
We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend both Floris and his apartment. The location is perfect. The apartment is modern and very clean. The bed is very comfortable. In addition, Floris went out of his way to provide valuable information and assistance before and during our trip. I truly felt like we were staying in a friend's home. We hit the jackpot on this one.

About the Host, Floris
My name is Floris Evers and I am 30 years old. I live in Amsterdam (the Jordan Neighbourhood) for ten years now and every day i appreciate life in this 'little village' in the center of Amsterdam.
Besides my work and sport I just like to live life with a smile. How do I do this? By traveling, reading books, having good times with my family and walking in my neighborhood.....
Enough for now,
