The cozy interior features a comfortable pullout sofa and a luxurious California King bed with a memory foam mattress, complemented by a generous closet for your belongings. Enjoy entertainment with two televisions—one in the bedroom and another in the living area. We prioritize your comfort and safety, ensuring a clean and secure environment throughout your stay. For those looking to explore, bikes are conveniently located along the porch, and kayaks are easily accessible from the dock, complete with a launch area. Nestled on the outskirts of Marco Island, our cottage provides an effortless no-contact check-in and checkout experience through a secure lockbox, making your arrival and departure seamless.

Being our guests, you will have access to the surrounding outdoors. We offer seats by the seawall.

Our guests have accessibility to bicycles and kayaks during their stay.

We have a free washer and dryer available on the premises for our guests. We do provide laundry detergent.

We do have neighboring cottages, on the property. You may see another person from time to time.

Our laundry room is located down the porch on the right- it’s a common space, and the laundry facilities are included in your stay.

The summer months of Goodland tend to be on the sleepy side of things. Restaurants are on a seasonal schedule, a few close from June to October. The Crabby Lady is open, but on summer hours. While Marco is only a few minutes away, all restaurants are open and in full swing, all year long.

Bicycles are not available June- September

Neighborhood highlights

Goodland is located 5 miles from the city of Marco Island. We are considered a “sleepy fishing” village. The area is considered to be historic, where you can still catch a glimpse of Marco Island’s pioneer area. Goodland has proudly maintained an independent spirit and authentic flair, separate from the modernization and development of Marco Island.
We have 4 different restaurants all within walking distance from the cottage. Our neighborhood is extremely unique. We are located in SWFL, but our village is very different from what one would expect from our surrounding areas. The island is small and quaint. Back in the 1950's, the island consisted of fisherman who solely survived off the sea. As you stroll through the quiets streets, today, there are still remnants of some of the old fishing cottages.
Our island has 4 restaurants, all within walking distance of our cottage. Goodland has 2 marinas, a Fresh Seafood market, and it's very own museum, with all kinds of fun and interesting Historical information.

During season you can have your choice of food, drink, and live entertainment, all within a short walking, or biking distance, as you meander through our MarGood Harbor Park. Its an extremely fun and friendly place to spend your vacation, whether just a weekend getaway or more. The local marinas offer boat rentals daily. If you choose to tow your own boat, the Goodland Boat Park offers docking space and a boat launch. We are located on the brim of the Everglades National Preserve. At night, the evening sky is brightly filled with a galaxy of stars. Come on out, enjoy the solitude of the Everglades, sit out back and look up at the dark evening sky.
