About this listing
A bright, airy double room with large roof terrace. Bathroom next door which you'd have mostly to yourself as I have my own en suite bath room. Hangers, towels, bed linen, 22" flat screen TV with Freeview digital channels & built in DVD player, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, work/dressing table, fan, lamp, alarm clock, hot water bottle with cover, magazines, global adaptor plug, London guide books, map of local area provided in room. Iron, dishwasher, washing machine,.Room fitted with smoke & carbon monoxide detector/alarm. The flat has wooden floors throughout, velux style windows and two roof terraces, great views and large patio windows, so it has a penthouse feel. Fulham is vibrant with excellent transport links & lots going on. I'm not on a busy main road so it's not too noisy. Two supermarkets, pubs, cafes, restaurants etc nearby. See reviews for feedback. Please note that breakfast is not included, which is reflected in the competitive price of the room. However, tea, milk and coffee is provided. NB. Street view image is old & inaccurate, area has been refurbished and does not show the flat or its entrance.
Nearest tubes are Fulham Broadway, Parsons Green, West Brompton, all served by the District Line (West Brompton has great overground train service too) or Hammermsith is a 15 minute walk which has many tube lines into the centre. All tube stations can also be reached by a five minute bus journey if you prefer that to walking. Once at the tube, central London is easily reached and on a good day can only take 20 minutes. The N11 and N14 night bus service run all night to the flat and save you the pricey cost of London taxis!
Other Things to Note
Due to guests having such varying schedules, I do not provide breakfast, which is reflected in the competitive price of the room. There's tea and instant coffee available in the kitchen for the mornings but anything else such as milk, 'fancy' coffee, cereal, juice, toast etc you would need to provide & store in the fridge.
The wifi password information is on a white label on the bookshelf next to the dressing table, and on the back of the router in the living room.
I'm often out, but I sometimes work from home in the living room so your boooking would technically be room only as I ask that the living room be left free for me to work in when I need to. However, you're welcome to use the kitchen to cook, and if I'm out you're welcome to use the living room. There's a TV and wi-fi in the bedroom.
I ask that no stiletto heels are worn in the flat as it damages the wood floor, and that you use a coaster for drinks and don't slam any doors as it can echo through the flat.
That's about it for "rules"!
A beautiful apartment in a wonderful place! The room itself is clean, quiet and comfortable. The shower is a little temperamental to begin with but I was warned of that prior to using it. I had a lovely stay with Feri, she's great to chat to and very helpful with regards to ideas of things to see and do in and around London. Will definitely re-book for the next time I'm in London.
Our stay in Feri's apartment was really good! Feri was suprisingly friendly and she made us feel instantly welcome to the apartment which was really cosy and clean. We enjoyed the stay a lot and and would definitely reccommend choosing Feri!
Clean, quiet room in a well located flat. Residents parking locally is free to non-residents between 5pm and 9amSpot on.
I had a very enjoyable stay in Feri's flat. It is as described in the listing with fantastic views of the London skyline. Feri is very friendly and welcoming.
Although I did not meet Feri Over the weekend I was impressed with the level of information and support given, excellent room, good bed, good location with a sunny terrace too ! overall a highly recommended place to stay. Thank you Feri. Best regards. Ian
Feri's flat was extremely clean and perfect for my stay. If you have lots of luggage note that there's a fair few flights of stairs. Feri was extremely accommodating and more than happy to help with any queries.
I was in and out most of the time so we didn't actually see much of each other. But I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend staying at Feri's if ever you're in London.
