Interaction with Guests
I work at home, so I stay in the house most of the time. We'd love to interact with our guests. The bedrooms are lockable and completely private, but you can come to the living room to talk to us whenever you feel like.
Our neighborhood is a typical suburban area. There are many small stores around, so it's pretty convenient. It's also fairly safe. I don't hear about any violent crime around here.
Using the subway lines, you can get to anywhere in the city. The closest subway station to our house is Shiogamaguchi on the Tsurumai line.

Eric was very helpful, and Lin (child in the house) was fun to play with. Very clean house in a nice area. Convenient to local subway station.
It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room was spacious enough for two people and Eric and Misa allowed us access to almost all the facilities in the house. They are very warm and hospitable hosts who cooked us breakfast on the first day and gave us recommendations on good places to visit in Nagoya. It's also conveniently located near to the train station and convenience stores. I recommend staying here! :)
The listing of his place is very accurate. It is very cosy and homely as he and his family stays there as well. The place may be slightly further away from Nagoya than we expected, but nonetheless it is indeed a very pleasant place to stay. Highly recommended to stay if you're in Nagoya and don't mind the distance. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. It's as if the other side of Japan; the quiet and tranquillity of suburban Japan that is the total opposite of urban Japan.
Excellent stay, close to station, comfortable and clean room ... Was able to only stay a couple of nights - Eric was welcoming and friendly and showed me everything I needed to know. Place is a couple of blocks from the station and easy to find given the directions provided. Thanks again!
Staying here was great! Eric and Misa were so nice, we felt very welcome :) also the little boy Ren is so cute. Eric and Misa made us feel like home in their house. The room is fine for two people and it is in a nice neighbourhood with some bars and restaurants. We were'nt at home much because of traveling to other places every day, but really enjoyed staying here. Metro station is just within 5 minutes walk:) We were here for 3 nights. Would def. recommend this place!
Despite my stay being very brief, my decision to come here was well worth it! Everything was provided as listed, and Eric and Misa went just a bit further as well. Eric invited me to dinner and chat for a bit, and Misa was kind enough to set out a towel for me after returning from a late, rainy night, among other (website hidden) was also very entertaining to have around. Definitely a host worth staying with if one is ever in Nagoya!
