Lynda and Steve are great hosts. Their house is clean, warm and welcoming. I'd recommend them to anyone needing a place to stay in the Kettering area.
Lynda was so helpful and lovely. We were looking for a place for one of my Romanian doctors (I recruit doctors for the NHS). She was nothing but helpful and caring. Anyone staying at Lynda's house can expect a warm welcome.
I stayed with Lynda and family for one lovely night this August. They are the most welcoming and accommodating hosts you could ask for, making me feel so at home and helping me do everything from a load of laundry to scrubbing off my hiking boots (I had just come from Greenbelt festival!). The bedroom is very comfortable, and the entire house very clean and full of beautiful artwork and character.
The family pet is the most lovable good-natured dog, and can even do simple arithmetic (I kid you not!).
I cannot recommend staying with Lynda enough - friendly, open and kind. This is the perfect example of why you should travel with airbnb and not in bland, annoymous hotels off (website hidden)!
Me and my friend stayed at Lynda & Steve's house for two nights while attending the Greenbelt festival. The house far exceeded our expectations with all its beautiful art and deco (some of which were painted by Lynda herself). They had thought of everything down to the towels and electric blankets in our bed (1 on each side!!). The room was the perfect size, clean and tidy. The house was exactly as described down to the perks of their adorable dog Dusty who we fell in love with instantaneously.
Lynda and Steve are two of the loveliest, most wonderful people you will ever meet. We were only there for two nights but they made us feel so welcomed, we felt like we were part of the family. Their talented son even shared his fresh home baked cookies with us. They are a fun loving household who showered us with treats and made us feel special. Lynda gets so excited about everything in life, you can't help but be excited along with her. She showed us some of the Jewelry she designed which were absolutely beautiful - there is literally no end to this woman's talent.
Thank you Steve and Lynda for your wonderful hospitality.
We would definitely recommend a stay with them. :-)
It was such a wonderful experience staying with Lynda and her family. The hosts were very warm welcoming and made me feel like home. They were also very helpful, open-minded and easygoing. We shared a lot of things.
The house was lovely and cozy. There were pieces of arts in every corner. The bed room was quite small but the decoration made it looked spacious and comfortable. Bed, pillow, towel, blanket were super comfy :) . The coffee is highly recommended.
No hesitation at all to stay with Lynda again if I had a chance. :)))
Lynda and her family are fantastic hosts. Hospitable, with an artistic soul, which makes them great to talk to.
The house is clean and tidy, with many paintings and decorations, which give out a warm and lively feeling.
This is why I like AirBnB. Not some anonymous professionalised experience, but being hosted by real people in their homes.
It's clear that Lynda likes people, and this quality makes her observant and attentive. She's also a real live wire who is thoroughly entertaining.
The downside is that we only scratched the surface of a very interesting family, and then had to move on.
Oh, and the room is clean, comfortable and well equipped too.
Wholeheartedly recommended to any other people who like people.
