The Sugar Bush Cabin is a tiny house at the edge of a pasture with an amazing view of Mt. Monadnock and the surrounding countryside. Overlooking a working farm with cows grazing in the pastures leading up to the cabin. Surrounded by maple trees, the cabin is tiny, with room for 3 to sleep comfortably with a double air bed below and a single bed up in the loft. ☆THERE IS NO ELECTRICITY OR HEAT IN THE CABIN☆ The magic is the location, the surrounding woods and fields are so peaceful and meditative.

The space
The cabin is a great place to get cozy, to sit and read, draw or sketch or simply just be.

▪▪THERE IS NO HEAT OR RUNNING WATER IN THE CABIN. THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOM FACILITIES ARE A 5 MINUTE WALK DOWN TO THE FARMYARD▪▪

Guest access
There is a full kitchen and bathroom, with ELECTRICITY for plugging in devices for charging if needed, at the Milkhouse down the hill. It’s a 5 minute walk through the pasture to the farmyard on the road.

Other things to note
There are miles of dirt roads to explore on foot or by bike or car. The field next to the cabin is a great place to sit and watch the sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and stargaze! We are working on trails through the sugar bush woods and along the pastures to Spectacle Pond. There are many hiking, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming options in the surrounding area. As well as New Hampshire villages and towns to explore, with fun shops and lots of great dining choices.

The cabin is on a working dairy farm off of a dirt road in the countryside. It is only a 5 minute drive into town, 15 minutes to Keene. Very accessible and well maintained roads although a bit bumpy so slow down and enjoy the drive up. Easy to get to from just about anywhere and so relaxing and rejuvenating once you land.

During your stay
I don’t live on the farm but farmer Troy lives in the red house. He is happy to interact with guests as long as they don’t get in the way of the chores! I am available by phone, text, or smoke signals.
