The buildings on the neighboring lot are private and not for guest access. A vehicle is occasionally parked there, and while access is rare, the host may briefly enter the lot or use the shared driveway (easement) if needed. Trash pickup, plowing or lawn maintenance or gas delivery may also occur using the shared drive during your stay.

Good to Know – Country Charm

This home is over 60 years old. It is well cared for, but has signs of age and wear including vintage finishes and a cozy, lived-in feel.

The well water in this area has a high iron content, which may cause amber discoloration in tubs, toilets, and sinks. The home is equipped with a high-end filtration system to minimize this. The water is completely safe to use.

Water pressure may fluctuate if multiple people are showering or doing laundry at the same time. Staggering showers is recommended for the best experience.

This home is located in a peaceful, rural area, offering a relaxed, country feel rather than a modern, sleek city vibe. If you're seeking luxury appliances and contemporary finishes, this may not be the best match.

But if you're after gorgeous views, nature, and a place to truly unwind with family and friends, you've found it. With indoor and outdoor activities rarely found in most vacation rentals — including a game room with pool table and 15-foot solid oak bar, sauna, lawn games, canoe and kayaks, and plenty of space to explore — this home invites you to relax, connect, and make lasting memories.

Guest access
You’ll have full access to the entire home and private yard, including use of a canoe and two single kayaks. Guests are also granted permission to use designated outdoor spaces on the adjoining one plus-acre lot next door, such as for parking, the firepit, horseshoe area, and volleyball court.

Please note: the adjoining lot is not part of the official rental property, but I own it and allow access to those outdoor areas for guest enjoyment. The buildings on that lot are private and not for guest use. While access is rarely needed, I do reserve the right to enter the adjoining lot if necessary. The driveway serving the rental property has an easement that also provides access to this neighboring lot, and may occasionally be used during your stay—for example, for trash pickup or to access a vehicle parked on the adjacent property.

Other things to note
We accept up to 2 pets with prior approval, however, there is a one time charge per pet of $50 per rental. If payment is not able to be made in advance we will collect this when you check-in.

There are certain periods where we do not offer rentals of under 5-7 days. We also at times may consider rentals of less than three days. Please contact us for this option.

Lawn Care & Snow Removal Notice

Please be aware that this property is located in a rural area with unpredictable weather conditions. To help ensure guest safety and maintain the grounds, our local property manager handles all lawn care and snow removal.

Because weather in this region can change quickly, and contractor schedules can vary due to high demand, these services may occur at unscheduled times, including during your stay. In these situations, we’ll do our best to notify you through the Airbnb app if the manager or a crew will be on-site, however, advance notice may not always be possible.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain the property under ever-changing weather conditions.
