This was a terrific place to.begin our 5 weeks in England. Jane & Paul were.able to accommodate our early arrival from Heathrow after an overnight flight from Chicago. The house was easy to find, the welcome warm. The bed was excellent, the bathroom, though on the hall, was truly dedicated to us. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, Aylesbury interesting, with a great assortment of restaurants and shops. Nearby are 2 top National Trust properties, Waddesdon and Hughenden, both well worth a visit. There is good walking from the house and in the near countryside. We spent 3 nights with Jane and Paul and can unreservedly recommend this listing. We will definitely book it again when we are in the area.
We had a pleasant stay in our clean and comfortable room topped off with an excellent breakfast. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks.
Paul & Jane were excellent hosts. Very friendly & welcoming. Paul arranges a complimentary breakfast with plenty of interesting stories. Paul even offered to run me into town with my luggage at the end of my stay which was so kind. My room was lovely complete with everything I needed & a welcome return after a long day. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay & would highly recommend this accomodation. Thank you both.
Comfortable large room nice and clean quiet location but close to town centre. Good hosts
Lovely couple, with a nice house, in a very quiet, yet convenient location.. I opted for the home cooked meal on both evenings that I stayed and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
We had a lovely overnight at Jane and Paul's place. It is on a very quiet suburban road not far from several pubs - one of which we were grateful to Paul for sending us in the direction of - and the room is spacious, clean and comfortable with the comfort of digital TV, tea/coffee facilities and fast WiFi. We only met Paul during our brief stay - he was welcoming, charming and unintrusive. We both had a very good night's rest which was just what we needed!
Friendly couple, comfortable bed and a very nice breakfast. Would strongly recommend.
Friendly and helpful hosts. Comfortable, clean accommodation. Highly recommended.
Room exactly as described - large and the bed is very comfortable. Nice bathroom & shower.
Breakfast was good, with a good choice of cereals, etc.
The location is very quiet and easy to find.
Quick & easy communication - very flexible given the changes to our schedules.
Would recommend it.
The house is well located and Is lovely and peaceful. The place is clean and tidy and the room well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and lots of information provided about the house and the area. Jane was a great host and it was lovely to chat with her in the morning while we enjoyed an inclusive breakfast. I'd certainly recommend to the place to other prospective airbnb guests.
