An unpretentious and idyllic nature retreat perfect for nature-lovers, couples and families on a budget.

We have 15 bungalows and beach huts nestled in over 2 acres of mature tropical jungle. All rooms have easy access to a private beach. Our small family-run resort is located on a sheltered cove at the mouth of an unspoiled river.

Our unique location makes us one of the most stunning nature retreats in Thailand. It’s seclusion and peacefulness is perfect for anyone needing a nature escape!

The space
A nature escape, pure and simple. You can expect a dream location that offers quiet sandy beaches, unspoiled rainforest, stunning sunsets over the water, an outstanding beachfront restaurant and a small but well-positioned pool.

The more adventurous like to scramble out onto the wild and rocky parts of the shoreline. Some prefer to paddle down into the estuary and spot exotic birds. Other guests are happy to just sit on their balcony with a good book and appreciate the great ocean views. Others still like to relax on our wide sandy beaches with a refreshing drink in hand after a traditional Thai or oil massage.

Nature lovers appreciate the areas’ rich biodiversity. Many unique marine and terrestrial species live here. Poseidon Bungalows is home to the endangered Slow Loris, Sunda Flying Lemurs and Asian red-cheeked squirrels. You can also see White bellied Sea eagles, several Kingfisher species, Coucals and Ospreys here.

Neighborhood highlights

The entire region is geared for nature tourism. Guests can go bird watching, diving or snorkeling. You can also go hiking in the park and swimming at nearby waterfalls. Many of our guests are happy to just relax on the beach.

We also own and operate a liveaboard snorkeling boat that runs 3 day tours to the Surin Islands and Richelieu Rock twice a week during the season (Mid-Oct to early May)
