The open sitting room on the first floor and my study are off limits but if you need emergency computing facilities, just let me know. The whole house has wireless access.
Interaction with Guests
My guests tend to be business people who want privacy and their own space to relax in after work. I am very happy to provide information and guidance to the local area. And if you like to chat, I am more than happy to exchange life stories....
Old Isleworth is an ancient riverside community full of history, local walks and interest beside the beautiful tidal River Thames opposite Kew Gardens. Syon Park is round the corner and a nice towpath walk takes you to nearby Richmond (17mins fast train to Waterloo). Isleworth has its own good local facilities including fitness centre/swimming pool (10 mins walk). Biking and buses for those who want to explore further afield is a good option.
The nearby H37 bus service links Richmond and Hounslow and the Piccadilly, District and Overground lines as well as Rail services. If you prefer two legs, it's a 10-15 minute walk from Isleworth Rail Station (30 mins to Waterloo) or a 30 min walk into Richmond (17 mins to Waterloo) or the District and Overland services. Walkable to most of the A4 business parks around Brentford/Osterley.
Other Things to Note
Car parking is available within the gated development: please let me know if you are arriving by car and need a parking space.
We are very relaxed and leave you in peace. But always happy to help.
When you are here, I like to know if you are away overnight. The sitting room and study (next to your room) is for my use only. Use the kitchen with courtesy and consideration to all of us - no leftover washing up from any meals you prepare, please. Let me know if you have any special requirements - I am sure I can help.
When you leave, it would be very helpful if you would quickly strip the bed, put your waste in the recycling or main rubbish bin and make sure there are no cups, plates etc left in your room.
Had another lovely stay with Louise. Ditto everything I said in my first review. Will definitely stay again.
A comfortable room in a lovely home. Beautiful location close to the River Thames. Great riverside walks and plentiful birdlife. Syon House and Park is a must visit.
What can I say? I enjoyed my stay it was very homely. Louise was an excellent host. The room was warm and comfortable. Found Isleworth a really pleasant area, the house is in a lovely quiet spot, wish I'd been there on holiday rather than working. Thank you.
The host perfectly arranged my stay. The room was very comfortable, clean and all the facilities available. The neighbor was very nice and quiet. Public transport was not far from the place. I can recommend to stay in this place if you want to visit London and if you want to visit Kew Gardens or other Museums in the vicinities.
Overall I have had a very good impression and I have spent five days as if I was at home.
A really comfortable, homely and thoroughly enjoyable stay. Louise was an excellent host.
