  • Julie's room was clean and quiet, with ample wardrobe space, and even a small desk. Julie is a great host, very friendly. Brick Lane (Shoreditch) is becoming a very lively neighbourhood. However, a point to note is, the property itself is a bit away from everything, and on a very quiet street. At night it might be a bit too quiet to walk back. Also, it takes at least 12 minutes to reach there from any tube station (or 20 minutes from Liverpool Street Station).

  • Nice room in a very enjoyable part of London. Brick Lane and Shoreditch on walking distance, as well as Liverpool Str Station and London Overground. Julie is a very fine host, who makes you feel very welcome in her house. And she is a very good advisor for people who need advice on their London visit.

  • The room is as shown, quite small, but nice, comfy flat and good location. I lived here for about 2 months while working in London and had a great time. Julie was immensely helpful, very nice and understanding. Will definitely go again if I am back in London.

  • Had a great time staying at Julie's. Julie was very helpful with giving information on tube directions the area and places to see, she made me very welcome and completly relaxed. The room was fairly basic but great value and as described, a great base for seeing the city. It had good storage space, was also in a quiet location, clean and had a very comfortable bed with huge mattress and cosy duvet, just what you need for a good nights sleep :). I would definatley stay here again! Thanks Julie for making my stay so relaxed and enjoyable.

  • Julie's place is a home with a kind soul for a host. You have all you need for a short stay. The place is easy for connections around London, for food and alternative shopping experience, for cafes and great restaurants. Lively area. Outside your window you have an amazing view of the London City Farm on a backdrop of the London contemporary skyline with the Shard.

  • I am really happy after my days in Julie's house. She is really nice and always tries to help you, but also gives you independency. The place is really well located, two minutes from brick lane! Many thanks, Julie!

  • Julie was very nice and kind. The rules are simple and clear. You can even wash your clothes, if you want, while in another house I had been before that wasn't possible.
The apartement is near Brick Lane and four stations of the tube. It is easy to reach Central London even on foot and the neighborood is one of the most alive in the city.
At night there are not noises from the streets.
I didn't use the kitchen, but I can only say positive things about shower, toilet, bedroom.
I definitely advise to go in this room, if you want to spend time in London in a safe and enjoyable way.
