This was a cosy, comfortable, home from home type of place which is directly behind Julie's own home (closer than it looks in the picture) and isn't suitable for those with a disability or find steps a struggle. however, ideal for a couple or friends that don't mind sharing a bed, which was particularly comfortable and Julie is a lovely host. I couldn't fault Julie's welcome and she's a lovely lady, the chocolates, welshcakes, and fresh flowers were a lovely touch. She was so helpful too. However, her place had everything I needed including wifi, leaflets on local attractions, books to read, films to watch, TV, a small kitchenette with everything you need to cook an easy meal (I did a cooked breakfast). if wanting to go to zipworld, its about a 10 minute walk up the hill and you can't get much closer. her road runs parallel with the main road. take a torch if you can. The driveway is narrow so best to park in the green spot just before going in the driveway. Julie has security lights so easy to negotiate in the dark of the country. Shes a short walk from the main high street through a park (hence the torch). I was travelling on my own on the first night - single female 50+ and i felt safe. Thank you Julie for everything. i had a great visit.

Julie's place was fantastic, she was a lovely host who made sure we had a comfortable stay and that there weren't any problems. There is so much to do as see around the area, going up to Mount Snowdon was one of our highlights (only 20 minute drive to Pen-y-Pass). The extras such as milk, Welsh cakes and bread made such a difference, especially after a long journey! Thank you for everything! Would recommend.

Julie was so friendly and helpful from the second we arrived. The cabin was immaculate and had plenty of useful essentials. Throughout our stay we saw Julie a few times and she was very helpful with advice about the local area and recommendations about places to go or things to do. Can't recommend highly enough to people looking for a nice play near Betheada!

Living in the woods in Snowdonia with two wonderful sons and one sedate cat (Jelly) - surrounded by nature with millions of stars overhead. Love meeting open-minded and interesting people and getting to know them over some good food. Love music, art and literature. Heaven is a good rummage around car boot sales or junk shops and finding a gem to bring home. Friendly home full of musical instruments, snowstorms, old tea sets, books, birdfood and fun. Everyone welcome x
