Amazing stay in a beautiful area. Julie and her family were so friendly and welcoming. We were very comfortable and I felt she went above and beyond what was expected to make our stay even more special. We are hoping to come back!! Thanks Julie.
Perfection! Amazing annex situated off the beaten track in a really nice community.
Annex has the perfect blend of comfort and cosy and really does have everything you need. Is situated right in the middle of all the great surrounding north wales attractions.
Julie and her family couldn't have been nicer and i would recommended this place to everyone
We had a lovely winter break in Julie and Geoff's retreat even in a rain soaked February! With the heaters and electric blanket we were able to escape from the weather when we needed to; but well placed to get out and about. The scenery was beautiful of course and easily walkable. Julie very kindly provides basic provisions and Welsh cakes!
We would recommend going to The White Eagle on Holy Island for a Sunday lunch especially.
We highly recommend this cottage.
Great little cottage really handy location for walking in Snowdonia. We had a lovely time and Julie and her husband and son were really friendly and welcoming. I will definitely stay again.
5 Star Rating for Julie and her hidden gem of a cottage! Julie really made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived and immediately we knew we'd made a great choice! The weather was pretty terrible and so we couldn't venture outside at all during our stay but were quite happy to so as our new home for the day and night was fantastically cosy!! The house was already stocked with teabags, milk, coffee and even a little tiny box of chocolates as it was Valentines day when we arrived which was very sweet of our host. The little touches from the host and all around the house is what makes it extra special, a great little selection of books to read, scrabble board, a range of literature about the areas history and attractions also. I could go on and on, but I'll end my review by thanking our host for a wonderful time and next time we'll be staying longer!!
Julie is a great host! We stayed one night in January and it was cozy and welcoming. She gave us tips on where to go and how to get there and when the electricity went (due to a bad storm, early Sunday morning - it same back!) she even offered to have us in for breakfast. A lovely family, a cute place! Go to Snowdonia to take photos and get pure fresh air!
We stayed for a weekend in this beatiful place. The cottage was really nice and clean and Julie with Geoff were perfect hosts with wonderful personalities!
The cottage was so lovely and very relaxing. It was absolutely spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. I even managed to cook Christmas dinner in the kitchen/small oven (with a little help cooking the roast in Julie's oven). Julie and Geoff were very friendly hosts.
Beautiful area of the country. We appreciated the welcome pack, fresh flowers, seasonal decorations, the Welsh cakes and electric blanket. We only stayed one night en route to Ireland, but it would be a lovely area for a walking holiday.
Had a great stay.
Julie was as fantastic host of quiet and very clean retreat.
I will go and stay again.
