We had a lovely stay. The retreat is very private, but good conversation is not far away if you fancy it, as Julie and Geoff are very welcoming and friendly hosts. Julie kindly left fresh bread and Welsh cakes, which were a lovely treat! We would definitely return! Natalie and Joff.
Perfect place to stay to explore snowdonia. Lovely area and very close to amazing mountain or coastal walks.
Julie and Goeff were great hosts. Very welcoming and helpful.
This woodland retreat was just what we (two 65 year olds) wanted on our recent trip to visit antiquities in North Wales. It had everything we needed, in a superb setting: bedrock rising a few feet from the window, topped by woods, and magnificent views of the mountains. And really close to many of the main sites, which were often less than half an hour away. No need to shop for essentials, as they were all supplied, along with welsh cakes and sweets, and a large bunch of daffodils. And very clear directions for finding the cabin.
Unfortunately, timings and commitments meant we didn't get a chance to meet our hosts for more than a few minutes, but that wasn't a problem, and they were most welcoming and friendly.
Julie's place is such a dream. After a long drive and a long day, Julie was a very warm and welcoming host. The location cannot be beaten, I wish we'd stayed for a month, not just a night. The kitchen was well equipped and we whipped ourselves us up a nice meal with no troubles. Truly beautiful part of the world - thanks so much Julie! Hope to see you again soon :)
We had a lovely time at Julie's secluded snowdonia lodge. It was a cold weekend but the place was snug & warm. We were immediately made to feel welcome by fellow mancunians Julie & her husband & the cats who offered us lots of local travel tips & eating recommendations! The place was immaculate, well located and stocked up with bread, milk & welsh cakes - oh and not to forget the electric blanket this was a huge bonus this time of year! Big thanks to you both we will be back.
We had a fab time staying in Julie's little cottage. The weather wasn't great, but the cottage was cosy and warm and a great place to hide from the elements. Julie was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. A beautiful part of the world, I'll definitely be returning too (hopefully when the sun's shining though!)
Julie and Geoff were amazing hosts from the word go. As soon as we got there invited us in for a cup of tea, great start after a 4 hour drive! So hospitable and warm, but gave us ample privacy throughout. A beautiful little cabin in an amazing part of the world, can't wait to visit again someday!
Dear Julie thank you very much, we loved your house and our staying. Even time later than we stayed in your house we talked about how was it great to find the warm bed (I saw it for the first time and it was great surprise ) we have very good impressions about Snowdonia - rocks, great air and warm bed) I recommend Julie and would love to come again.
Amazing stay in a beautiful area. Julie and her family were so friendly and welcoming. We were very comfortable and I felt she went above and beyond what was expected to make our stay even more special. We are hoping to come back!! Thanks Julie.
Perfection! Amazing annex situated off the beaten track in a really nice community.
Annex has the perfect blend of comfort and cosy and really does have everything you need. Is situated right in the middle of all the great surrounding north wales attractions.
Julie and her family couldn't have been nicer and i would recommended this place to everyone
