About This Listing
Available for you to rent is a single room in a new build flat block. It's moments away from Tower Bridge in a great area called Bermondsey. Close to many excellent bars and restaurants, or enjoy your dinner on the roof looking out over London.
The flat has everything you need for a comfortable stay: there is a shared lounge and kitchen which even has a balcony, for you to use. The flat includes free wireless internet and shared Sky TV. We have also acquired three lovely, quiet and non allergenic chinchillas called Kurt, Brian and Sydney - see photos!
The flat is in a great location, it is just 5 minutes walk from Bermondsey tube station on the Jubilee Line and 10 minutes walk from Tower Bridge. The Jubilee Line has many London landmarks accessible from it, so our flat is a great base for your stay. It is really easy access to the usual London attractions, and it is also quick to reach Gatwick Airport.
The area has everything you need in walking distance: there are a few pubs, restaurants, and supermarkets so whether you want to eat out or cook at home, you are catered for.
If you have any questions about the accommodation, please feel free to get in touch.
Guests will have access to the shared bathroom, kitchen and living room. They are welcome to use the cooking facilities and fridge as well as the television, Blu-ray player and Xbox.
Interaction with Guests
We also live in the flat so will be around in the mornings and evenings.
Bermondsey tube station is a 5 minute walk and we are 1 minute from bus stops that serve many areas of London.
There aren't any house rules as such! Obviously, please treat our flat with care, but you're welcome to use the kitchen to prepare food and you'll have access to the balcony and roof. You may make use of the TV (with Sky), the washer/dryer, all kitchen appliances and of course the wifi.
Stuart was extremely welcoming! He offered me some wine when I arrived, which was nice (but I had to reject it because I needed to get up early the next day). The apartment is in a very good location, short walk from Bermondsey tube station and it is easy to get there. The room and toilet were also clean. I stayed for just one night and was pretty satisfied with my stay. I'd definitely recommend this to people who are looking for a central location to stay but wish to spend most of their time exploring the city.
It was a very good experience. The place was comfortable, nice and clean. The location also a highlight for those that need to be near the center of the city. The hosts are also very kind and had all the attentions to make it easy for me to get to the place and to feel like at home. Definitely recommended.
Nice room, good location, big enough bathroom. Also, the roof is as good as it looks in the pictures.
Actually I used the place only for sleeping at night and to take a shower and took the advantage of the location (15 mins walk to London Bridge). It's an ideal place for the ones who want to see around instead of spending time inside.
I'd stay there again as it is also close to my friends' place.
Lovely room to stay. Stuart and his girlfriend are very friend and easy going~
Will come back again
