Available for you to rent is a small, single room in a new build flat with a shared bathroom.
The flat has everything you need for a comfortable stay: there is a shared lounge and kitchen which even has a balcony, for you to use. The flat includes free wireless internet, shared Sky TV and you can even have a go on our Xbox 360 if you’re so inclined! We have also acquired three lovely quiet and non allergenic chinchillas called Kurt, Brian and Sydney - see photos!
The flat is in a great location, it is just 5 minutes walk from Bermondsey tube station on the Jubilee Line and 10 minutes walk from Tower Bridge. The Jubilee Line has many London landmarks accessible from it, so our flat is a great base for your stay. It is really easy access to the usual London attractions, and it is also quick to reach Gatwick Airport.
The area has everything you need in walking distance: there are a few pubs, restaurants, and supermarkets so whether you want to eat out or cook at home, you are catered for.
If you have any questions about the accommodation, please feel free to get in touch.
They were great hosts! The entire time he was very helpful. The room is not huge but it is good for a person or even two, if he allows it. The apartment is close to a Tube Station, which was very convenient. Also, they have the cutest little animals. Overall, they were great!
The overall experience was very good. Communication was always fluent and
fast, and Stuart and Therese are very nice. I wish I could spend more time
with Stuart and Therese but our schedules were not meeting in any point :S
They weren't in the apartment when I got there, however they managed to
give the keys to a neighbor and I could get in with no problems. The
apartment is cozy and the room is as shown in the pics. Maybe a little
smaller than it seems in the pics. There's more furniture in the room, a
table and two chairs that it's useful! And all in all I'd like to have found everything more clean and tidy. The AC and heating worked perfectly, I wished I knew how to use the towel heater :P
The chinchillas are super cute, they are introduced in the ad and in the
pics, (but you should be warned that, as happens with all kinds of pets,
they have smell and as the apartment is quite compact, you'll feel it. It's
not terrible, but not everybody likes that.). The location is great and I
almost didn't have any trouble in getting to/from there... (the underground
was on strike that week, but even then I could manage by bus).
Stuart & Therese were fantastic - really accommodating and welcoming throughout the whole booking process and stay. The room is ideal - plus the shower was great and wifi a great benefit.
The location is very handy to get in to the city and in a good area - it was lovely to get up and go for a run along the Thames to Westminster and back.
Stuart and Therese are really nice people that make you feel at home instantly.
I stayed at Stuart's place for 7 nights and it was a pleasant stay. Both Stuart and Terease are very kind and willing to offer help. The location of their apartment is a short walk to tube station, and also safe for walking in late night. There are also bus stations nearby which can take you to many places. The little app that Stuart recommended "Citpmapper" is really useful for getting round in the city.
I was only staying for one night, but Stuart was very accommodating and arranged a late night arrival.
Absolutely lovely stay, Stuart and Therese were friendly and welcoming, although I shut myself in to study. They made room for my packed lunch in their fridge, and their shower was lovely (better than mine at home!)
The room was clean and as shown in the photos, but with the addition of a blackout blind. It was large enough for my half-folded Brompton AND to do yoga in the morning.
Whole building was clean and seemed secure, and the evening walk to/from the train station was quiet and felt safe.
Stuart and Theresa were great hosts during my visit. Any question I had, they answered. Very polite couple. Right next to the train, only one stop from London Bridge.
I recommend staying here for anyone!
Room was large enough with a comfortable bed and good heat and sound insulation. The hosts are also very nice, quiet and considerate. The flat is very close to the center of London so It doesn't take long to get anywhere.
All in all, I had a lovely time and would recommend them with no hesitation.
Stuart and Therese are very nice and patient hosts.
I enjoy my stay here!
