My husband and I really enjoyed our 2-night stay. Murrells Inlet has a great marina with every activity you may be looking for and lots of great restaurants with live music (?every?) night. Beaches are a short drive away.
The couples camper was great! Very comfy beds, nice shower, wi-fi, Netflix, clean, and well-stocked, not only with dishes and such, but any toiletries you might have forgotten, breakfast foods, condiments, snacks, etc. Christine and Paul really go all out to make sure you're comfortable. They had wood and kindling all set up for us in the fire pit the first night and were there if we needed anything. We would definitely stay again.
Loved staying here! So convenient to the Marsh Walk ~ easy walking distance and the hosts were so informative! Our stay was during bike week, and we were within walking distance to the vendors and everything that was going on in Murrells Inlet! The hosts were so helpful in telling us where to go to eat, things to do in the area, etc...would recommend anyone to stay here and we will be back! :)
We were warmly welcomed by both Paul and Chris. The camper is well taken care of and little extras like the State Park pass, an umbrella, sodas, milk, coffee, towels, etc. made this trip really nice. Despite Tropical Storm Ana, we were warm and dry. Parking was right there on site and the neighborhood was very quiet. Restaurants and the Marsh Walk were within easy walking distance. The Smart TV was nice to have and we enjoyed several NetFlix movies. We were very pleased with this choice.
Paul and Christine were very kind and accommodating. They provided snacks, towels, and a pass to the nearby beach. The camper was clean and well prepared, and we had a lovely trip. This location beats staying in Myrtle Beach proper, which in our experience was crowded and tacky.
Still, I'd be careful about restaurants on the marsh walk advertising fresh fish. We had a number of disappointing experiences with overpriced not-so-fresh fish. We didn't get a chance to dine at Russell's around the corner, which looked promising. Our best meals were actually in North Myrtle beach, our favorite being a divey little fish shop called Berry's.
We were welcomed warmly, and the camper was great fun - a little bit like sleeping on a boat. It was very comfortable, and our hosts provided all the most important basics -- good drinking water, juices, coffee, shampoo and soaps. Walking distance to the "Marshwalk," a boardwalk full of great restaurants and pubs. Fun, and a beautiful area. Visit Brookgreen Gardens!
This is a cozy accommodation for 2 people. It has soft twin beds and a small kitchen area that includes a coffee maker and mini fridge. We visited the restaurants on the marsh walk, kayaked in the area, and went to Brookgreen Gardens. The hosts are friendly, we enjoyed our visit.
