Other local attractions within walking distance include the Columbia Road Flower Markets (Sundays), Shoreditch, Brick Lane (famous for Curry Houses) and Old Spitalfields Markets.

My Wife and I have just had a Son and as our place is fairly small, we decided to find an Air Bnb nearby where family members and friends could stay whilst visiting.
My Parents stayed with Justin and Khalil for two nights over a weekend. They received a very warm and pleasant welcome on arrival from Khalil who graciously gave them a tour of the house which was most comforting. The house is lovely and the room more charming than the images depicted.
Over the course of their stay they met Justin too, and felt very much at ease in their company of an evening, or over breakfast in the morning (which was truly delicious).
The location is perfectly located in a quiet residential street, but very close to the hustle and bustle that this part of Hackney has to offer. My folks especially enjoyed bring close to Victoria Park (access to the new born baby at our place was a short walk).
We agreed that we will definitely be using this wonderful facility for more family members in the months to come.
A fab stay, thank you to Justin and Khalil.
Justin and Khalil are great and helpful hosts! Everything was as expected from the description - great house, delicious breakfast (we even got a lunch package once), comfortable bed and good connections to the city center. We really loved staying in their elegant house which made our stay in London even better! You really can trust the ratings, we can absolutely recommend this accomodation :)
If you want to know what hospitality is, than this is the perfect place to stay! Justin and Khalil are wonderful hosts, they made us feel at home the minute we arrived and treated us like family. Not only the house is beautiful, but the bedroom is very comfortable, and the bathroom is gorgeous (and will keep your little feet warm). The breakfast is delicious (the fruit salad with honey is amazing).
In a word, I highly recommend this place ! Thanks again both for everything, you made our weekend in London even more magical.
We booked to stay for a short weekend break as we had a concert in London. The description exceeded our expectations and Justin was an amazing host (Unfortately we didn't get to meet Khalil).
We were made an amazing breakfast on both mornings. Justin was happy to amend the breakfast despite only telling him we were vegetarians on arrival. The specially made frittata was wonderful.
The bed was so comfortable. There is an additional living room next door for reading or working. The bathroom was also impressive.
A great experience! I would happily return.
Justin and Khalil made us feel very welcome in their beautiful home. The bed was very comfortable and the homemade breakfasts were delicious! The house was an easy walk from the underground and the bus. We would happily stay here again.
We loved our stay with Justin and Khalil. We were warmly welcomed by J & K, who said they wanted us to feel completely at home, which we certainly did. There beautiful home was comfortable and their hospitality exceptional. We expect to revisit them in London and have recommended them to family and friends - oh did I mention their delicious breakfasts, fantastic. Thank you J & K for your friendly atmosphere. Julie and Brendan, Melbourne.
About the Host, Justin & Khalil
Hi we are Justin and Khalil, living in and rennovating a delightful Victorian town house in the heart of the East End of London. Gregarious, well-travelled, and hospitable foodies we love meeting new people. You are most welcome to share our home on your visit to London. We like our guests to feel at home and treat the place as if it were their own.
Between the two of us we know most of the best places to visit in this great city of ours and definitely some of the best places to eat (not the most expensive). My partner Khalil may have been born in Iran but he knows the streets of London better than most cabbies so if you need directions to anywhere chances are he's better than poring over the A-Z and much faster than G****e Maps.
Great food with a Mexican theme at fabulous prices. Their daily set lunch of half a spit-roast chicken with sides is a measly £6.95
Regents canal at north of park you can follow tow path to Camden one way & Limehouse Basin in other. formal gardens, an arboretum and recreational spaces. Super new children's adventure playground.
