For my first Airbnb stay, I could not have wished for a lovelier host and home. Her house is beautifully decorated with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. I was in LA for a 4 week course so found it perfect. It's a 10 min walk to Hollywood and Highland so I was able to use public transport for the duration of my stay as I didn't want to rent a car. Coming back in the evening to a cosy bed with my own TV (with all cable channels) was awesome. Booh the dog always gave a lovely welcome home too.
Thanks sooooo much Lora for making my stay in your beautiful home!! xx
As soon as I walked into Lora's place It felt like home. Lora was sooooo welcoming and made her place "my" place. Her dog booh was an absolute angel.
The bedroom was perfect and the bed was by far the most comfortable bed I've slept in, beats mine.
Lora always reminded me to make myself at home and do everything as if it were my home as well.
Overall I loved my stay x100 and I would stay here in again.
Thank you Lora for your kindness and generosity!
Lora was incredibly nice and helpful especially considering my early arrival and departure. Her dog Boo was the best, so friendly and keen to hang out. The place was super nice and well kept. Definitely recommend staying here, great location and perfect hosting by Lora
I was there for a quick work trip so only made a brief appearance, but I would definitely recommend staying here. Lora was friendly and communicative. Her home is beautiful and the room is nice and comfortable.
Lora's home was just perfect. Seriously, it's just like in the pictures. Gorgeous place to stay and SUPER clean. The bed in the guest room is extremely comfy, and like others have said, there are gobs of pillows!
Lora and Booh are both incredibly sweet. Lora was always available to answer any questions I had about LA, and would check to make sure if I needed anything. She made her place feel like a home. I seriously got so excited to get back and hang out with Booh on the couch. We became seriously good friends, me and her dog. =)
Also, for anyone out there interested in using public transportation and wondering if it's at all doable: I spent a week with Lora and went to over a dozen meetings all using buses at the metro. There are several bus stops just a few blocks from her house, and the red line for the Metro is just a ten minute walk away. Does it take longer than driving? Of course. But in a week of meetings all over the city, I spent $20 on one 7 day unlimited pass for all my transportation needs. Not bad.
Lora was a great host, and her house couldn't be cuter. It's in a great location, it's clean and comfortable, and she's very accommodating. Bonus points for Booh, the sweetest dog in town.
It was my first Airbnb experience, and I did a lot of search, luckily I found Lora's house, which is nice and convenient. Lora is such a great and nice host that I would definitely to stay at her house for me to be in LA next time. And being with Lora's dog Booh is also great as she is quite and totally understand ppl. About the house, about 10 mins to Subway Hollywood/Highland station, walk of fame is just there, there were live shows going on from time to time, ppl crowded around to sign together, quite good feeling. One subway station to Universal studio, can take public transport to Disneyland, Santa Monica, but take some time and better rent a car. The room is cozy and bed is soft. I took most of my days being there to get over jetlap, or else I could have more time to talk to Lora and Booh. Great experience and do recommend.
A great place to stay. I was made to feel immediately at home. Lora and Booh were discreet, very helpful and fun to be around.
Lora is a lovely person and her dog is seriously cool.
I hope I'll be able to visit again one day. Thanks again!
This was my first Airbnb experience. It was great! I loved Lora's home, it was beautifully decorated, clean and light filled. The space made me feel at home and comfortable. Her dog, Booh, was a sweetie! She was never in the way and was very low key and quiet. Lora and I hit it off immediately! She was accommodating, friendly, helpful and just a joy to be around. I was visiting my son who lives several blocks away and will surely make this my place to stay when I come again.
I was staying out in LA for a few days to get to know the area before making a permanent move about a month later.
