We did not meet the host, but when we arrived, the door was locked and someone came over from next door at the spiritual center. The house is a Hare Krishna facility, which is fine, but we were surprised; the house is a large retreat center named "The Self Discovery Center." The review mentions it is a yoga facility; however, we were told yoga would be on Wednesdays and we were there on Saturday. The Blue Peacock room we were promised was not available so we were told right before arriving in a text message that we would be staying in another room with a queen and single bed. Luckily, two of us were able to share a bed without too much problem, but that wouldn't always be possible or comfortable for everyone. The house was super quiet, located on a pretty residential street, but you could hear traffic all night from a nearby busy avenue. I also heard a critter running around in the wall right next to my bed, so that was a little disconcerting. The refrigerator in the kitchen contained juices, yogurts, fruit, and almond milk and there was bread to toast if you wanted. There is no coffee, only tea. There is no garbage can in the kitchen, only a bag sitting on the floor, which is also not highly sanitary in my opinion. All in all, the house was a place to rest your head, but I wouldn't want to spend any extra time beyond what is necessary.

I've stayed in multiple airbnb locations before without issue, but this one was incredibly awkward. We alerted them we would be arriving before the check in time and I was informed someone would be there to meet us at that hour without issue. Upon arrival, we were awkwardly greeted by a girl who could not provide any direction to who was in charge. She simply stared at us. I tried to contact who was supposed to meet us, but did not receive a reply. After standing around the entryway for ten minutes, someone came out and attempted to help by contacting a different individual. We ended up sitting in the dining room for an hour before anyone was able to come and help us. We also were informed there would be breakfast, but upon waking up we did not see food nor anyone who could help. The room and bathroom were perfect, but I was ready to be out of there after one night.

The neighborhood is in a nice part of Atlanta. The hosts were very welcoming and gave us the tour of the house. It was very cool of them to provide breakfast. When we pulled up to the house, we were a bit nervous because the exterior of the house is not well kept. But when we got inside, it was a stark difference. Great decoration, hardwood floors, and you got the sense that they are meticulous about cleaning the place, which is a BIG plus. I'd recommend this place and use it again.

The room was comfortable, clean, and peaceful. It's upstairs from the yoga studio, massage room, breakfast area and kitchen. Breakfast was a self service invitation to use the kitchen and food there. We had oatmeal, yogurt, herbal tea, and some berries. I'd be happy to stay here again when I'm back in Atlanta!

This is a lovely place to stay and just perfect for anyone who wants a quiet and spiritual place. Great deal for the money and fabulous location. Savitri is a beautiful soul who communicated well and took care of our every need. Definitely would stay there again!

Savitri was thoughtful about meeting us in person, giving us a tour of the home, and answering any questions we might have. We needed an extra bed in the room we reserved, and she took care of it right away. The room and place were clean, spacious, and beautiful. The private bathroom was huge. The home is nestled in a wooded, quiet neighborhood, but is located very close to the city of ATL. We thought we were sleeping in a country retreat house, but we were very close to Emory University, which is the reason we came to visit. I would absolutely return in the future

Upon confirmation of the reservation, I was given the entry code. The day before our arrival informed that there was a leak in that room so we would be given two alternate rooms with same # of beds. I was ok with that. I informed the host that we would be arriving late at night she said to let ourselves in and use rooms 1 and 3, and Radhapriya would meet us next day at 8am. We got there and only one of the rooms was available. Someone else was in the the other room promised to us. Next day in the morning no one showed up, so we just wandered into the kitchen. The garbage was overflowing, and there were mealy moths in the food. We took the trash out. No one showed up so we went out for breakfast and took care of our business. I texted the host that afternoon and informed her that we had ended up sharing that one room as the the room she promised us was occupied, and that we didn't have the wifi code. The host didn't respond to my texts and no one contacted us throughout our stay. We were not given a wifi code, so we had no connectivity, and it made conducting our business rather difficult. Also It is a Hare Krishna facility (I was not aware when I booked as it's not specified) and the smell of incense was permeated throughout the house and was overwhelming. I am allergic to incense and had difficulty breathing. Overall, even though the location was convenient, the experience was not as good as our other AIRBNB experiences.
