  • Lovely accommodation and lovely rural setting but still being close to Bedford. We had a lovely dinner at The Plough nearby. Very welcoming and friendly hosts, would definitely recommend.

  • A warm welcome, a cosy, comfortable, and spotlessly clean room. Jennifer is an excellent host with nothing too much trouble and she provides a good choice of items for breakfast. It's easy to find and in a very pretty area. I saw deer, pheasant, rabbits and assorted other critters on my drive to work each day. After staying here I wouldn't even consider a hotel when staying in the area again.

  • The accommodations could not have been lovelier: full of charm and attention to detail. The converted "stable have been superbly outfitted with a lovely bathroom;delicious breakfast is waiting for you in the morning. Alas, we were there for a wedding so between the rehearsal dinners and the wedding itself, we did not have a great deal of time to get to know the owners or walk about the gorgeous property.
Aside from Bedford, the place is very convenient to a number of grand houses and gardens. I wish we had more time to enjoy the charming and well tended gardens.

  • We had a great time at the Amos Farm! Bob and Jenny are great hosts and always wanted to make our stay as nice as possible.
The stables we live in were renovated as guest rooms for their own parents, so everything is very clean and working. Nothing is missing.
The places they send us for dinner were all great! The "Horse and Jockey" was wonderful (take the set menu-cheaper but jummy!) and St.Neots is a lovely town next to a river. Or just get a take away fish and chips and sit on your own bench in front of your stable! No traffic around, just the cat might come and say hello :-)

  • If only it were possible to give 6 stars - Jenny and Bob's place is one of the best places we have ever stayed anywhere and we must have stayed in hundreds of places in more than 30 countries over the years.
Jenny's attention to detail is faultless - open a drawer and there is bound to be something there that you need. It is spotless, tasteful and from the first contact, the booking couldn't have been more positive.
If you are travelling to Bedfordshire you must stay here and if you aren't, then you must travel to Bedfordshire.

Live in rural Bedfordshire and have both dogs and cats. Very quiet environment with no reliable public transport so crashpadders would need transport. Live with husband, Bob. We have 2 daughters. Both are married and live and work in London. We enjoy meeting new people.
