My friend Lotte and I had the pleasure to stay at Francesco's place for nearly one month. He gave us a warm welcome and is very down to earth and with his friendly personality, he made us feel welcome and at home. We had a good talk about what we could use in the kitchen and so on, and Francesco was easy going with that. We shared dinner a couple of night, which was nice. Regarding the breakfast, the solution ended up being Francesco bought some food for us and we made the breakfast ourself, because we had to go to the university everyday at 8. The neighborhood was calm, and with bus, train and metro connections (metro 15 min by foot). There is a Supermarked (Carrefour) and a Natural Bio Shop near by. The apartment was lovely, especially because of the big terrace. It had everything we needed, a good kitchen, a living room and a nice room with our own toilet/bath and room/shelfs to pack out our clothing. We never became good friends with his cat, maybe it is because none of us is cat-persons. Apart from that we had a very nice stay at Francesco. Thank you :)

We had a wonderful time at Francesco's place. Very friendly, very clean and Francesco was always happy to help or give suggestions during our trip to Rome. We enjoyed the room which had all accommodations needed: private bathroom, air-co, fridge and a good bed. Especially stunning was the big roof terrace with views of the city. Ideal to end the day with a cool beer. Metro/train stop nearby for easy travelling trough the city, but for us the ideal mean of transport was a hired Vespa (don't do this if you haven't got experience, though). Francesco is a thoroughly good cook by the way, so i would definitely advise his cooking-course. Also for all questions food related, he's the man to talk to.

Francesco is the BEST. You must stay here if in Rome. He cooked, he drove me to get a SIM card, he showed my friends and me around, he was so generous with absolutely everything. And that view from that terrace....

Francesco made his home open to us and was very welcoming in terms of making us feel as though it was our own house. He had some treats for us in the the fridge for us apart from breakfast. He also bought us some Italian treats for breakfast and was very friendly towards us. The description of the place is accurate and is very comfortable to live in. The place was very clean and well maintained. The neighborhood was safe and the building looked newly renovated.

I believe Francesco would have to be one of the nicest host one could ask for. It was sweet of him to leave pastries and make coffee for us each morning. I thought we going to have a chance to have dinner or a glass of wine. But, we ended up having to leave a little early. The place itself was very comfortable and nice. Highly recommended!

This is a great place if you want to spend time outside of the city centre Rome , it's not very far from city centre but this neighbor hood is very residential and less touristy . There are metro bus and train access nearby and a pass for 2 day will get you on every public transport to reach Rome central in about 45 mins using walking and public transport. If you choose cab it's about 20 mins ride . The room and views are all spot on per the listing and Francesco is an excellent host , very warm and welcoming. He was very kind to bake us his own recipe of bread from scratch for our breakfast and also let us use kitchen to make anything else we like to make. The penthouse has a really nice view especially in the night to Vatican dome. I would gladly ,in our experience ,recommend Francesco as a host and this listing.

Hi, my name is Francesco, I have born in Rome, where I have spent the most part of my life, but some of my travels have been revolutionary, as all travel should be. I have a passion for coocking and I do it professionally. I love spare time and trips, sociality, politics and economics... sports (only the practice, not watching on the tv), music .. theatre.

My ideal travel is to mess around with locals, join another culture through social activities aswell as social dining.
