The space
We're so glad you're here! Originally constructed in 1874, the Eagle Block Building served as the headquarters for a plethora of businesses and social activity. Some of the more popular recollections are the American Dairy Association, the Strother Brothers’ Barber Shop, El Paso’s First Library Room, The Telephone Company, First National Bank, El Paso City Hall, The Post Office, Salon, Dentist Office, and The City’s Opera House. Today this historic landmark, renamed The Legacy Building in 2019, has undergone a massive preservation effort and now houses a handful of local businesses including a full service Wedding Venue, the Speakeasy Bank Parlor, Central Estate Guest Suites, and Project XV Museum & Gift Shop.

When I purchased this property in 2018 it was in complete despair, but I knew it needed to be saved and the history kept alive! Central Estate consists of old offices converted into private guest suites, like the 1920’s Salon. Our hope is that as you soak in history in this one-of-a-kind Airbnb you leave feeling refreshed. May our never-ending labor of love and the "in process" areas intrigue and inspire you.
