Our attached lower level guest apartment has its own entrance from your private deck with keypad entry. Inside is a large luxuriously furnished living area, with an under counter fridge/freezer a microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker and kettle. Satellite TV and WiFi are provided. There’s a separate bedroom with queen bed and en-suite bathroom.
Use your private apartment as a secluded getaway or as a base for your explorations!

The space
This is a well appointed lower level guest suite with private entrance You enter past your small private deck with teak table and 2 chairs and enter the large living room - which has a sofa, comfy chair and footstool, dining table with 2 chairs and a “kitchenette” that has an under counter fridge with small freezer, microwave and toaster oven, Keurig coffeemaker and an electric kettle. There is no cooktop, range or running water in the kitchenette.
There is a separate bedroom with door and a queen sized bed and has an en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Hair dryer, soap, shampoo and conditioner are supplied.
Our property is 7-14 miles from restaurants and shopping. Dollar general is the closest store to us at 7.5 miles and Food Lion -13 miles, Ingles- 14 miles. Louise’s Rock House in Newland is the closest restaurant at 6.3 miles from our house. There are many restaurants in downtown Marion -about 13 miles from our property. We are centrally located with Lake James, Asheville, Black Mountain, Morganton, Blowing rock , Boone, Grandfather Mountain, Hendersonville all within 1 to 1 1/2 hour drive. Sugar an Beech Mountain skiing are within 45min to 1 hour drive. There are many hiking trails in the Pisgah National Forest nearby too.

Our property is in a gated community, situated just off hwy 221 - and 2 miles up the mountain in the Pisgah National Forest with scenic walks straight from your door! Nearby downtown Marion is 30 minutes away and has antique shops, artisanal ice cream shop, a local brewery, pubs and restaurants and a river tubing adventure, and it’s also a 30 minute drive to Lake James. We are 5 miles from Linville Caverns and a short drive to Linville Falls and Gorge, and - for the wine lovers -Linville Winery. Driving is easy to neighboring towns like Boone, Blowing Rock and Asheville and nearby Blue Ridge Parkway is a scenic delight!
