A bright, airy maisonette with two double bedrooms (one with en-suite bathroom), a single, and great views over Redland. Use of rooftop terrace, sitting room and kitchen. Great location for both uni and town centre.
The double guest room enjoys superb views over Redland to the north and has a feeling of space and airiness. Stripped wooden floors add to the ambiance and there is also a private en-suite bathroom with shower. On the second floor there is a large master bedroom and a bathroom with a separate shower and bath, as well as a single bedroom. The hallway opens out onto a roof-top terrace which is in full sun both morning and evening so ideal for al fresco dining, reading or morning yoga...whatever you fancy.
Guests have access to the whole maisonette, including kitchen and living room. There is a washer and dryer for clothes, dishwasher and wireless internet i.e. everything is shared and nothing is off limits.
Interaction with guests
When letting the entire flat we will be elsewhere but when in Bristol we will still let the double guest room (sleeps 2).
We love to meet people from around the world and try to get a good balance of public and personal space. Of course, when we are away we often don't get to meet our guests, which is a shame, but makes timing of arrival and departure a bit simpler for all of us.
Other things to note
Cotham Vale is included in the Bristol residents parking scheme and so parking can be a bit difficult. Fortunately, it is free from 5pm-9am on weekdays and all weekend, so it often doesn't affect our guests. In some instances we may be able to provide the occasional guest permit.
We simply ask that you respect our space. We are happy to allow pets if they are well-behaved, but have a rather strict no-smoking policy and no parties, please.
From Dec 22, 2017 - Jan 02, 2018 the minimum stay is 2 nights.
Hello! My name is Jessica and I live in Bristol, UK with my husband Nic and our lovely daughters, Iona (3.5 years) and Willow (5 months). I am originally from the States, but moved here after falling in love at first sight :-) in 2010. I am in my mid 30s and am a classical soprano (opera singer) and singing teacher. I love yoga, running, the outdoors, people, children, literature, philosophy, lovely vegetarian food, community, languages... too many things to list, really!
